did you learn about computers at school or home

When I was studying in schools, there was no computers. My present age is 61 years. Now you can guess about my perod. It was half a century back. I didn't learn about computers from the school or college. I studied myself. But I have two months training from a private institute in DTP (Desk top publishing.Computers and the internet related aspects was very much interesting to me. So I learned myself depending the help pages. Now I am writing a response to this discussion in mylot.com using that knowledge.

I learned some basics at school but most of the stuff came through trial and error at home. Not enough time in school, not to mention they don't have the resources, to allow me to learn more than I did with my own computer at home.

I took 2 college courses. Now, that I homeschool,I teach my children at home with the books I have and other things I have learnt since I have been using the computer.

i had a course at school beginning at the age of 10. So i had no chose :p . But most i still learned at home. except for the programming in c that was again a small part of a course at college. (for programming psychology experiments on a pc) i also learned myself the basics of dos and 'programming' .bat files, on the first computers i ever got in though with out of school. it were old pc's where windows couldn't run on.

I did not learned much in school but I learned in the home much about computer it is my graduate age where I brought my system and my friend also helped me in learning system

I learnt about computers at home.

I learn computer at school when I was 7 years old, which is many years before. Until now, only 20% of my computer knowledge, included internet knowledge learned from school. I learn a lot by my own in home.

I began working in a tech support office 7 years ago. I knew a little about computers, but over the years I have really learned alot.
