i watch tv/movies with my children a lot, not just movies but anything.. dramas, cartoons... local children's programs... we watch a lot of movies together (the whole family) and there are quite a lot that we enjoy watching.. animations like 'Madagascar', 'Happy Feet', 'Rattatouile'... and others like.. 'Narnia'.. 'High School Musical'... i 'sort of' cheated my daughter's school to get her home (from hostel) to let her watch High School Musical 2 !!... (i posted the story quite sometime ago..) but my own favourite kidz movies... will have to be the Disney Classics... AND 'Jungle Book' is definitely on the list..

Yes, I enjoy watching kids movies with my toddler and mostly because she enjoys them and enjoys them more when I am watching with her. The last we watched was 'Beauty and the Beast' that we enjoyed thoroughly. I tend to look up kid's movies online too and we download and watch together at the weekends mostly. Also, we will substitute it for a bedtime story sometimes. If it's a DVD, I put subtitles on so we can sing along sometimes. I think these are some of the favourite moments of parenthood, getting away with doing some of this stuff again:)

I found myself doing that when my daughter was a child then I did it again with my grandkids. My husband and I took the grandkids to see the Toy Story movies when they were small and I loved them. Shrek was quite entertaining as well as some others that I can't think of the names right now. I remember my own mom taking me to see Bambi when I was little and she loved that too and cried right along with me. Annie

Hi There, I always watch movies with my girls. I guess I should say I used to, because they are teenagers now and do not watch the cartton movies so much. My favourites when I did watch with them were Disney favourites such as the Lion King, Mulan and 101 dalmations. I miss those days very much. cheers,

Not so much movies, but their cartoons..lol how bad is that. Just last night my son was watching Max and Ruby (a show about brother and sister bunnies on the SPROUT channel) and i was on mylot and found myself distracted watching the show with him. It was about the sisters birthday and her little brother wanted so bad to give her a present but couldnt find wrapping paper to work so he took the paper from the gifts she opened and stuck it on himself..she said waht are you doing adn he said PRESENT..lol very cute i thought.

Yea. I have a 5 year old cousin and I enjoy watching cartoons or animes with her. She really enjoys Barney but I do not fancy that as much. She also enjoys Disney Classics like Cinderella and animes like Pokemon. It's really enjoyable to watch cartoons with her.
