This woman has been slowly murdering her son!

good day.. This is very unfortunate. A mother denying medications for her child. There should be an agency looking into this things specially for children who can't help themselves and totally dependent on adult for their survival. The mother might be suffering from some kind of mental disorders brought about by this who knows? That's why it's imperative there is agency such as social welfare to look upon these things and check it out in a weekly basis. If there are Parole officers who look into paroled convicts why not have an agency to look into these things as well.

What kind of mom could do that to a child? a pretty sick on in the head for sure. I mean he could have had a better chance to survive now look. it is a shame things like this happen in the world. I am glad she was found out. maybe docs should be checking up on others to make sure they are doing well as expected and getting their prescriptions filled..I wonder what excuse she had for the police for doing this to her son.

i guess the mother have no money to pay for the medicines or the treatments, cancer patients have really high maintenance... i dont really know about her, i have no time to read the news (my bad) but in the philippines many sick people don't have money to go to a doctor and they just wait or seek people's help for whatever they can give...

How sad to know that the mother had given up hope his son will be cured. Sometimes when you know that your loved one got the Big "C" you get the idea of just giving up but then in my case I saw in my mother she wants to survived that is why I supported her decision all the way and until now she is surviving her fight against it.

That is absolutely horrible. I can't fathom it. I would give just everything to save my daughter. It is hard to understand why anyone else wouldn't do this same for their precious treasure.

This is horrible. How could any parent do this to their child? It makes me sick. I hope there aren't people like her in the world.

I read about thia story today and the whole thing just makes me sick. What the he!! is wrong with people. I don't understand how a parent can sit idly by as their kid getssicker every day, knowing there is something they can do to help. She should fry for what she has done.

I can't even think of a reason why she'd do this...it makes no sense. Unless it was in order to get back at the ex-husband but that would be really twisted. I really hope they find a way to give the boy more time. Thankfully he seems to have a dad that really loves him. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Only she can say why she's doing this. I wouldn't try to explain it. The real explanation is probably without logic. Its a crime and she should be punished. As for the boy, his life is going to be with a mum who was letting him die. I wouldn't want to be in that position. My mum loved me beyond reason and that is a forte in my life. I pity those who suffer this. Its really awfull.

That is so sad, I cannot understand a mother not doing everyting that she can for her son, I know that I would give my life for mine.. I am so sorry for the boy, he may have had a very good chance at a great life, but now he doesn't have anything to look forward to but dying, that is awful.. I will never understand how some people can go on living with themselves while doing such as this.. I will be praying for him as the Lord can give him a much better chance of survival..

This woman must have a serious mental illness. There is no excuse for her actions(or lack of actions). I can't understand why she would not want to get her son medical treatment. All we can do is hope the child survives and has a normal life. This world would certainly be a better place without her.

Well, I can think of only two reasons: 1. She is off her head and requires a shrink. 2. she is a religious nut and believe she might go to hell if she sees a doctor. Either way, she has almost murdered the boy, and I don't know what she feels now. Cheers and happy mylotting!

What the HE!! is wrong with that woman. Why would anyone knowingly inflict such prolonged pain on their child? I hope they keep her locked up for a very long time.

Oh how sad. They don't say why she did it, so I wonder if it was due to religious reasons (which I don't agree with), or laziness, couldn't afford it, or what? Still no excuse. If you don't have the means to care for your child's medical needs, there is always a way to find it. I can't even imagine doing this to my child.

this woman is absolutly disgusting and in my opinion should be shot! to deny your child vital medication and to let them suffer is beyond beliefe i cannot understand why any parent would do such a thing and the woman is a disgrace!

OH! I heard about this. This kid had a 90 percent chance of survival. Now the little guy has about 10 percent. It was child abuse and neglect and way wrong. I am not an advocate of regular medicine for many tings, but for cancers they are doing many great things these days and he was doing well. If this boty cannot win this foight, the mom should be tried for neglegent homicide, I feel! I am glad he's with dad now and my prayers ar with him to make it! I am a witta witch and..like many in Salem, I will be sending healing energies to this young child that he will survive! But this was SO hard to hear about. I wish him total cure!

Maybe this mom doesn't care about her son, or she could have some mental disease.....otherwise, her action doesn't make any sense.
