People! We Are The Noisiest Planet In The Universe!!!

cool we sound like a lot of bird chirpping!

For a moment there I thought we sounded like a Jaguar. Anyway, it was really interesting that they've actually discovered that earth is emitting such chirping sounds. It shall remain a mystery as of now if there are indeed other life forms out there. It could be a way to communicate with other planets. Well, quite possibly, we won't get any answers to most of these questions anytime soon. It's cool though.

what the hell!!!! i d just been watching a documentary about UFO sightings and it kinda freaked me out! previously i used to think that there might be life outside this planet, but who cares, they prolly wont be advanced and all... but now i have second thoughts the documentary was about commercial PILOTS and astronauts who had seen 'objects' i.e. UFOs. and this documentary convinced me quite alot in believing in aliens than those abduction stories by people which i seriously think were nothing more than a stunt to attract attention. the convincing part of the documentary was that they played the black box recordings of various incidents. in two cases, the events had happened with some gap but the description and 'behaviour' the UFO was quite similar. well this might be another of publicity stunt by both the pilots but then they showed other events in which two or three pilots from DIFFERENT planes in the same airspace communicated with the ground of the sighting and they did give the exact same description of the UFO (it was differnet from the previous event that i v stated). the pilots described the object as atleast 300 to 400 ft long!!! (OMG!!!) and had a strobe of light around it, and the animation they made of the event was FREAKY!!! there were other incidents too with more than one pilot seeing the UFOs. and the common thing about the 'behaviour' was that the UFOs moved at extraordianry speed and moved in close to the planes as if they were observing it and then speed off! and most of the events occurred at night time! and what amazed me the most was that one of the pilot even captured a UFO on tape, but it was far away and looked like a star but it was extremely bright AND moving fast. an astronomet took some pics of a UFO as well but that was far away too but the three pics were taken in short interval and yeah, they clearly showed that the thing was moving fast. but the documentary says that NASA and other authorities still keeps alien sightings as classified subject, not open to the public but it indeed is real! i am still shaken of seeing all, and i am a frequent traveller by plane. well the coming flights wont be as comfy lol. hell even the night sky wont seem as friendly now =( =( i am scared!

really interesting to know we are chirping and cheeping 'like crazy way out there in outer space. wonder if there are other scientists on other planets who could be listening to all our chirps and cheeps and wondering what kind of people live on this planet earth? thanks for letting us listen to our cheeping chirping world in outer space.

Dear friend, May boards may arise in near future like noise pollution. Keep silence board is much in earth in some cases. Any how I do think could other planets have this much noise to heard from earth. No we even let our satellites and other objects for spreading our noise. Hope to find which country is highest country that makes noise. Hope it might be the country with much corruption. May be noise pollutions is our enemy for coming future, may be humans could find an alternative solution for that too.

Hey gtargirl. I saw the video of this on Monday I think it was. When the video first started and I heard this sound it was pretty cool. I was amazed because if this sound is heard out there in the universe then other people/aliens must hear us and want to find out about us. I really find this whole thing fasciniting and I'm thinking of taking a class about this in my university just so I can find out more about this whole universe thing. I do hope that we can either find some other life forms out there using this noise or that they find us. But not the dangerous one. I'm too young to die. ^_^

It was strange hearing that. I bet Superman could hear us and yet still distinguish the cry for help. Haha.
