Since agreeing to visit my elderly aunt, whom I love very much and haven't seen in two months, I've begun to feel very uncomfortable about going out to see her on July 5th. I can't explain why I don't feel like going. Ordinarily, I'd look forward to making the trip with my sister. Could there be be a reason? Or are those negative feelings all in my head? What do you think?

You know, you may be getting uncomfortable watching her age? It can be hard to take, knowing we will all face the eventual loss of the ones we love.
Also, on the 5th of July..alot of drunk people are still on the road and it may be a very real fear of harm!
You may need to listen this time? I would call these very real concerns. It does not have to be crazy or al in your head to be ..instinct and solid concern?

I don't know that I would heed your misgivings to the point of not going to see your beloved aunt. I would, however, be extra alert and careful just incase.
