I did work part time when I was in college. I tried to do part time work in the field that I was studing. I did a few Public relations jobs to help myself get experience in the field.

yup...yup...yup.i worked as cafe attendant. i never thought at first that working while studying would be very fun,i thought it would be stressful because i was assigned to duty the night shift.after 1 week i find myself enjoying my work, and it kinda help me to socialize and interact with other people, the number of my friends increases and the good thing i earn money eventhough i`m still a student.if ther`s a good thing happened well we cannot deny that there is also a bad things that will happen,in my case the bad thing is i was more excited to go to work than to go to school.

Yup! I worked as tutor since college. Aside from that, I also worked as student assistant in the information office of the university. I also sell items from Avon, triumph and other direct selling companies. It really augments my financial status at that time and I miss it a lot now that I am just a mom to my kids. I am glad mylot is keeping me busy these days.

i've worked at a student restaurant from the university, so it was payed pretty well in comparison for what i had to do.
But i would rather work at some pub or something, or a 'real' restaurant as a waitress.
don't know why. The restaurants in ghent (belgium) are prety cute, so maybe that's why? %-)

I've always worked part-time during my fulltime student semesters. So far, I've worked:
1) At a library
2) At the career services on campus
I've also tried some front desk jobs as well. It works out nicely; you get a decent balance of doing mental and physical work, and you get some pocket money to help you along during the semester.
