Blogging Ideas

I have wanted to start blogging for a while but have never really been sure what to blog about. Tech and Politics are the two things I have considered but as far as tech goes I don't really know how to make original posts. When browsing through sites like Gizmodo for blogging ideas I basically realize that if I were to blog about this I would be rewriting those posts. What should I do to find stuff to blog about? Specifics that is like books, newspapers? Or are there any tips for writing the blog to make sure it isn't just a rewrite?

Well, you definitely don't want to plagarize other's work, you are correct in that. I usually just blog about things I know about from personal experience, or what I'm doing at a particular time. For instance my latest blog entries have been about writing because I'm writing articles online now. I also did one about my brothers car wreck. Then on my outdoor blog I did post about our recent vacation. Just use your imagination and write about anything!
