To all OFW or even people from other country working abroad how did you surmount homesick?
Me I am almost a year here in Japan and this is my first time to go abroad so it is hard for me at first but now I am used to it already. But what I am doing when I get homesick is "plan online games especially DOTA lol!" that's all. How about you?

i am a singer and i've been in and out of the country a few times already. most of the time i cant find a good sleep so i bring something to do with me like cross stitch so it can keep me company and can also make me sleep. it is much easier now for OFW to contact there families for there is internet access all over the world. but i have travelled before and when i first went to japan there wasnt any yahoo yet.

I'm not an OFW but I'm away from my family...what i did was to find friends here in our place, joined them in their activities (activities that are good and meaningful)...but the best thing was that I'm constantly clinging and communicating with the Lord -- He's my bestfriend... :)
