pets

I like cats alot. I also like dogs. Cats are sweet though. My cat is named fluffdaddy and he is a quiet and mellow fellow. He sleeps alot but comes to sit beside me at night. I really like his sweet nature and friendliness.

I like all pets. I have been in the pet trade for 23 years. I prefer reptiles. They have the least needs and can go "ignored" for a few days if I go on vacation. They don't bark or meow and their cages can be kept clean, offer food and water and the proper lighting and that's about it. Snakes or lizards. Some snakes are smart enough for owner recognition (reticulated pythons). Some lizards are quite intelligent also..i.e. Dumeril's monitors. They come in a variety of sizes, colors and dispositions. Many even have a lot of personality and are downright "dog friendly". (i.e. Savannah monitors). When they shed, they do so in their cage and very few parasites you have to worry about so long as you keep the cage clean and have a clean house. As far as exotic mammals go or regular mammals...flying squirrels are pretty fun, small and easy to take care of. I've always viewed dogs as more of a "functional" pet rather than just a pet. Something to alert you to "invaders". Someone to potentially protect your family and children. But, I still love them. Animals are a lot better than many people.

well we are of the same kind. i love all animals but am definitely more partial to cats. i too have three cats at home. they are kitty, terror and baobei. kitty is the one in my avatar and i guess i love her the most. she sleeps with me on my bedhead. i love the other two boys as well but maybe not just as much.

Cats are my favorites, too. Four live here: Peaches, Josie, Paisley and Arthur. I also wrote a book, Cat-House Sonnets, 100 poems celebrating cats, about cats. Nothing is better than a cat purring in your lap.

I like cats the naughtiest of all pets.
