human most often tends to let rational thinking override intution.i think intution can guide us to make smarter and faster choices thats why it is called sixth sense. intuiton can tell us when a persons smile is fake yet we can't explain why.i think gut felling is an inner voice and it may help us out making important decisions in various fields of life.i trust my gut feeling and go according to it.

In most cases I do... I tend to follow my gut feelings pretty often... Those gut feelings have gotten me out of a lot of troubles as well... Small example but place where I work, someone came in & I offered to help... She started asking me questions & I had this weird feeling about the person... She asked me questions that normal people I deal with everyday would ask but something was telling me to be little more cut & dry, professional about this one... Turns out, she was a secret shopper... I was called into an office few weeks later & the store manager told me about the result I got from that... I ended up getting a raise... There are few other incidents but in general, I try to follow my feelings...

I absolutely love my gut feeling. It really helps with issues, especially those with other people. Its kind of like, we know that something is a certain way although other, more physical aspects such as sight, smell, sounds, may tell a different story. What I think it all boils down to is that mind (or in this case, intuition) is always over matter(What you physically perceive).
