Do you still response on discussion that already have a best response?

I usally go ahead and respond. I think you still get points for responding. I might be wrong though.

If someone already had a best response in a discussion and I felt I could put input into it I would still respond.

I would still respond to that discussion since what makes me response is not whether the best response has been selected or not but more on whether the topic is something that I can contribute or not. One tips that I want to share with you is that I have been making more money starting a discussion which has more than 100 words then responding to discussions since when I respond, I would not be able to write that long...

Sometimes I didn't realize that I am posting a response to a discussion that already have a best response, when I see there is better responded already selected I don't know why I don't reply to it, maybe because I am afraid that I would not get pay out for post a response to that discussion that already have a best response, in very few cases I have responded because the topic was interesting or because I want to know more about something, by the way I have not selected a best response in many of the discussions that I have started, I think I will fix it, I also don't mind if my response is selected as the best, but it feel nice when I figure that I was marked as the best response, anyway I disable almost all the messages from mylot so I don't get an email every time. My insight is that I just come to reply but I try to talk about the topic because it is easy to lose the focus on the discussion.

Yes, ofcoures, If the topic of the discussion is interestings, if i can able to respond those discussion, i never mind about the selected the Best Responses.. In case if i can able to respond those discussions, in a different point of view, i defenately select those discussions and respond it.. In fact i have responded lots of discussions so far, like that, the discussions which has been already marked the best Responses. This is not come to an end, once you mark the Best responses.., in fact the most of the people comment for my responses, as "Since i was already mark the best response, i am not able to mark you as the best one.." If you mark the best repsonses for your discussion, this may be moved from the "my resolved discussions" not from the discussions forum, you can get more and more responses, even after marking the best responses.. But here some of the people are there, that if the discussions which has been already marked as the best responses, they thought that, that discussions has been closed for the responses, no one should not respond to that discussions, like that.. Actually this is not a fact. Any time you can respond any of the discussion, in which you can able to show your view of that particular discussions topic. My insights are just them same as yours. If a discussion is hot and I have something to write then I have to respond even if it already has a best response. I dont respond with an aim of getting a best response. I respond because I feel the discussion is interesting or touching.
