pls suggest some good books for gifting people...

hi...my internet connection is down with some problem and so i cannot be online for a long span of time..just to save time i got into using abbreviations....n the "gifting"part..well i too noticed the error after submitting my post....thankyou for your response....now if you could please continue telling me the names of books we can gift people..it will be great....

OK...that's a bit better. Sorry to hear you are having problems with your internet connection. Mine has been having fits, too. If you know a person pretty well, you might know his/her interests. If they have a certain kind of hobby they enjoy, a book about the history of that hobby would be nice. My dad likes airplanes and has ever since he was a kid. One year, for Father's Day, my sister and I gave him a book of airplanes. If I remember right, they were military airplanes. Believe it or not, there are books about which books to read. One book I read that I wasn't sure if I would like it or not is Caine Mutiny written by Herman Wouk. The book was written in such a way that I understood the different parts of the boat and what action were leading up to the mutiny. A very good read. I have been reading quite a few biographical books over the last 5 to 8 years. A book about your friend's favorite actor, political figure, or rock star would be a great gift! There are also the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. These books are filled with inspirational stories by people from all walks of life. They can be for mothers, sisters, pet lovers, etc. Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen are co-authors with contributing authors. I have read some of these books. There are nice real-life stories that many people can relate to. I hope I've helped out a little here. Please don't take it badly that I did't like the way you shortened so many words. Misspelling is my biggest pet peeve.
