What do you think of Violin and Koto

As we all know , Violin came from west,Koto came from east.what do you think of them, the tone ,the skills,do you ever listened to them,do you konw how to play them

I don't know anything really about Koto, however I love the violin. I played for about four years during my youth, and wish I would've continued because i was good, and had potential to do something great. I love the softness of the violin, I love how one note can have several different sounds. I get lost in the notes and it becomes natural to grasp the feeling of the pieces.

Thanks,i also played violin for 3 years ,but i had to stop it half a year ago ,i have a discussion with my friend about violin and koto.I really agree with you .violin is one of the most wonderful instrument in the world.About Koto ,there are many famous song ,they sounds beauty.Regards

hello my new friend,i am happy to leave some commention.I really like the instrument,like guitar,violin,Koto,sax,etc.in all of them, i am only good at playing guitar.But i am also interested in listening the fair-sounding music by violin or koto.That is really great.
