The money market cosists of financial institution and dealers in money or credit who wish to either borrow or lend. Paticipants borrow and lend for short periods of time, typicsally up to thirteen months. Money market trades is short ter finanical instumebnts commonly called "paper". This contrasts with the capital market for longer-term fundingk whch is supplied by bonds and equity . Can anyone enlight me more on this?

in addition to that when an individual are lending money to others with or without collateral its called also as money market..while if applied to corporation or company like lending investors or banks who main business is to lend/loan money to a client who had the requirements and the capacity to pay..this individuals can also give bonds for collateral on long term loans...this kind of loans are applicable only to corporation who like to increase their capital by borrowing some funds to banks..
