The money market cosists of financial institution and dealers in money or credit who wish to either borrow or lend.
Paticipants borrow and lend for short periods of time, typicsally up to thirteen months.
Money market trades is short ter finanical instumebnts commonly called "paper". This contrasts with the capital market for longer-term fundingk whch is supplied by bonds and equity .
Can anyone enlight me more on this?
