What are the Stars for?

I see many of you have stars to the left of your name some white some red, What do theses do and what are the numbers inside them for? Please someone help me i only joined last night

Hello Rastaman. Welcome to myLot. You get a star when you reach 100 posts or discussions. The stars are the ratings tyhat other members give your discussions and responses. if a member likes your response or discussion then they give you a positive rating. The ratings are The boxes with +. - and ! The ! will let you report a member has violated the guidelines of MyLot Good luck and happy myLoting

The stars are basically your rating. If someone likes your post, they press the "+" next to it. If they don't like it, they press the "-". The number in the star is however many "+"'s Someone has. Happy to help, Luke

The stars are your community response rating, Rastaman... You start to see your own as you make more responses to discussions. Try to make really good ones, because they will be rated and that will affect the bumber of your star, and the color. Welcome to Mylot! :)
