This is a different kind of rehabilitation brought.. by self.. when our conscience begins to work..
Actually, yesterday i was dusting the old newspapers laid in the shelf for a long long time.. it so happened that i caught a glimpse of an interesting news..
A militant from Punjab, in India, laid down his arms.. and surrendered to police way back some years ago. And according to him the life that he spent in the jail has made.. him to realize the value of his life...
After severing the term, he was realized during the first month of this year.. After his release.. he directly went to his village and started to teach the young kids.. the importance of life... why violence is not a solution to any kind of problem..
At present he teaches 46 students.. free education.... he has in effect..ignited the awareness in his village, about the importance of education.
He feels quite happy.. now.. and according to him....he lives in the world of happiness..though he does not earn much..and he is very much ashamed of the life that he lived as a militant..
Does not this change in him.. is an astounding one?

Hi saivenkaat802003! I do agree with you completely that it is an astounding change for the better. His realization of his mistakes made him a better person and I do admire his unselfishness in sharing his life and what he has learned for the people in his village. I think he is one man anyone will admire. Thanks for sharing this. There is still hope for humanity. We can all change for the better, if we really want to.
Take care and God bless you my friend!

i guess i can call it a job well done..and its never too late to change and be aware of the people around you..and i glad that particular man has come to its senses instead of always rallying on the streets which of course can cause troubles and in the same way they will be hurt in the process of such actions..is trying now to teach what really life is all about to young children who lacks education and everything..

It is an amazing act of courage, to change like that when all of his comrades are fighting useless battles.. If everyone would follow his example, the world would be so much better.. We never hear of good stories such as this, we always hear of the killing and murdering of others, all of the fighting needs to stop and the violence needs to stop, our world can change and it does need to.. The children are our future and they need to be taught that love is so much better than hate.. That is a great story..

It is really a three hundred sixty turn around. His life as a militant was very much dfferent from his present life. It was a life of volence and hatred. With this kind of life, peace of mind is very elusive.
His new life is simple but it is a life of fulfillment and enlightenment. He realized that to change the world around him, a change must also take place within himself. This realization changed his life dramatically.
He is now a happy man and little that he know, this life leads to the true glory.
