Do you look down upon the transsexual?

An odd question for you,my friends. Till now,i can't understand why a healthy person want to be a man or a woman against his/her gender.Life itself is very precious,we should cherish our body and everything our parents give by born.I don't mean i look down upon that transsexual guys,i just can't feel for them. So,how about you? What's your opinion on this phenomenon?
