feminine wash does not have any effect with regards to your menstruation cycle. there are some reasons why our period are sometimes delayed, nutrition (low iron intake), and stress can be one. if there are some itching and you are sexually active, refrain from using those rubber protections, it may be an allergy. if itching still persists, consult your ob -gyne. if you are delayed and you suspect to be pregnant you can use a pregnancy kit to test( it should be early morning urine) hope this help....

thanks bea!!this really helped. Most of you said that stressed is one of the factors of delayed. But a little bit confused because i'm not sexually active now.Right now I'm focusing with my work, maybe because im very busy right now that i forgot i've been delayed. But now i'm ok.I've had it now,and now i use mild soaps. And i am increasing my iron intake now. Thanks for the help!!

I don't think feminine wash can affect your cycle. If you're a month late then you'd better get yourself a pregnancy test, it can have nothing to do with the wash you use, trust me.

Go to the doctor!
Itchiness down there could be the sign of an infection or an irritation that needs to be addressed. Douching really isn't good for you, unless you're doing it to administer medication.
If you're that late and it's unusual, you probably should go to the doctor and get checked out to see if you're pregnant and get set up for prenatal care if you are.
Good luck! Hope things work out.

hi fluffnflowers!!Do you think douching really isn't good?I did't knew it coz i'm fond of watching t.v. you know in the commercials. They always say that we should clean them and maybe i've just been very curios about the item.I dont think it would harm me so i've tried. But i didn't have signs of neing pregnant.I'm just afraid because it's the first time i used that and the itchiness comes then i missed my period.Maybe i should see a doctor for some help.thanks for the reponse

The commercials want you to buy their product, so they're not going to tell you anything bad about it!
Here's an article about douching from a women's health group: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/douching.htm
Definitely check with a doctor and see if you've got anything else going on. Infection can spread upwards and cause a great deal of pain, suffering, and damage if they're not treated. Good luck!
