Do you sometimes keep money in Your socks

I can honestly say that I have never put money in my socks, well I take that back. I might've done it when I ran cross-country and didn't have any pockets, but I don't think so... I always carry my wallet, but I would probably put money in my shoe, secret pouch, etc. if I went to somewhere like Mexico where crooked cops will sometimes rob you ... intersting discussion.

Here in the Philippines, I remember one of my classmates putting money on his socks too. His reason mainly is that if ever he faces a hold-upper he would still have extra money that the criminal wouldn't dare take or even look at. Here it's mainly for your safety and security to have some extra money even in your socks.
