There is a culture of keepin money in the socks here in Uganda-you see smartly dressesd men picking money from the socks-I feel it is not healthy-do you sometimes keep money in your socks or Bra?

I can honestly say that I have never put money in my socks, well I take that back. I might've done it when I ran cross-country and didn't have any pockets, but I don't think so...
I always carry my wallet, but I would probably put money in my shoe, secret pouch, etc. if I went to somewhere like Mexico where crooked cops will sometimes rob you ... intersting discussion.

Here in the Philippines, I remember one of my classmates putting money on his socks too. His reason mainly is that if ever he faces a hold-upper he would still have extra money that the criminal wouldn't dare take or even look at. Here it's mainly for your safety and security to have some extra money even in your socks.

Hello dear academic friend. I never keep money in the socks, but in my pockets as always. What if the people do not wear socks in hot weather like the summer we are having now? Where do they place their money? It is really an interesting thing to know about. Thanks.

Before I started carrying a purse, I would put it in my shoe, socks, and bra. That was if I didn't have pockets on my pants. But later I stared putting in my pockets and that was about it. If I had a dress on my bra, if I had no purse and that was the best place to keep it. Now that I have gotten older. In the purse or my pockets.
