whom he will rescue firstly,the mother or the daughter?

There are so many choices we should decide in our life.As lif the life is joking with us.In some condition,we have to do the difficult choice.Like a story i heard before: one day,a family:a father, a mother,and a little daughter were playing at the side of the big sea.suddenly,a huge wave hit them and take them into the deep water area. Now, it is very dangerous.But only father are good at swimming.so he a only take the other one to survive in this disaster. But in this condition,alternatively,he has no other choice to save the only one...But whom he will rescue,the mother or the daughter? please advise..

I believe he will rescue his daughter first.. I have never really liked this type of question as it does make you think about "what if it happened to me".. But everyone may figure that the mother might be able to swim better than the daughter and the daughter needs the protection of her father and also the mother has lived more of her life, give the daughter a chance.. So with that reasoning, he will rescue his daughter first.. That was not a good question to have to think about.. Have a great evening..

As a mother I would want my husband to save our daughter and not me. I've lived my life and hers has only begun. She has the future ahead of her and many things to learn and experience so robbing her of all of that would be worse than allowing me to give up what time I have left on this earth.

this is a tough one.i would have to make sure i saved the child first.then the mother ,as i think the mother may have more of a chance at survival than the child.cheers sue

Hiya successlong Dad should save the daughter first as she is weaker and more likely to drown first. Mum is stronger and should be able to endure the ordeal a bit longer. As a mum myself I expect my partner to rescue the children first.

This is a million dollar question and asked so many times. The answer to this is, whoever is the nearest to you, it might be the mother or the daughter.

I would save the daughter, because being a mother myself, although by adoption, I would want my husband to save the daughter. If the little girl drowns, how can I forgive myself and what if she were our only children. Saving the mother would be for nothing if all they have is each other. With the daughter, he could have a memory when he sees his wife in his little girl's eyes.

this has got to be one of life's greatest dilemma. whoever he choose, he will live to regret it. if he rescues the mother, she will blame him for the rest of his life for not rescuing the daughter. if he rescue the daughter, she will blame him for making her lose her mother. damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. in a case like this, i'd just try to save both or drown all together. ;[

Dear friend, First he must save his child, because the chances of dying first is the child! After saving the child, he get some time to rescue his wife because she is an adult to tolerate the strength of the waves for that pretty time! ok!!

He should rescue the daughter. A parent must always put the child on top of everyone and anything else. Since he brings this child in this world, then he has the responsibility and the obligation to protect her. Of course he loves the mother, but the mother for sure -if she is a good mother- she would want him to save their daughter first, and not her.

The heart of the mother is in the child. So I will save the child because she still have more chance to live than the mother. The mother will wrestle in swimming and she can able to stop breathing for a while but the child doesn't know anything.

Hi successlog! That is a very difficult question to answer. No one would ever want to be in that kind of situation. No one will have it easy in choosing between two people to whom you would give your life up, people whom you love more than your life. I guess, if I will be in the father's shoes, I will be rescuing the one whom I can reach first and try to get back to the other one who was left behind. Take care and God Bless!

Well, i think he will save his daughter,because even if he goes for his wife instead,9 times out of 10 the wife is ganna urge him to save the child....

good day my pheng yo....It's a hard decision, a decision any man specially fathers wouldn't want to make. If it's possible for me to sacrifice my life so that both of them would live, I would without second thought but that's not life and certainly not a reality. But as it goes if there is only one I could chose to save then I guess I would let fate decide by choosing who's nearest to me.

I will save my kid.Although i will feel but that i cant save them all becouse i love them both.But my mother will understand. A kid have a life forward ahead.And my monthe have that already so i would like my kid to gave a chance to live and to experience life. For me as a person its to hard to decided who is going to live or not.But if there is just a little chance that i can save them both i will try all the best i can to save them.I will try to swim fast.Have a nice day!
