How many bottles of water do you store in your refrigerator?

We usually have 2 bottles of water stored in the refrigerator and two more bottles kept on the dining table. There are only two of us at home so its usually sufficient - we keep refilling them as we use them. When we have guests we need to refill them faster!
How about you. Where do you keep the bottles of water you're gonna drink - mostly in the refrigerator or elsewhere?

We used to have at college up to six bottles of water in the frigde. We kept refilling them but they really weren't practical. After a while the water started tasting funny from the bottles too. We got a Brita filter for the apartment and we couldn't be happier.
Here at home though I usually just get water from the tap. Of course, my father is in charge of treating the water and everything so I know where the water comes from. Just don't see a point in water bottles often.

I don't keep bottles water in the frige but my father does. At least 2-4 bottles, he refills them though. Tap water. He use to buy the bottle water but has gone back to tap water. There was something on the news that it was fine to drink tap water. I guess they were trying to get people to not by bottle water that much anymore unless they needed too. It was an interesting topic about bottle water. It was on CBS news to the minute. I'm up sometimes early in the morning and I just was listening to it. Have a good one.

Just two days ago, I had three bottles of water stored in the refrigerator. But since yesterday I had four bottles stored in the refrigerator because it's getting really dry in my area so I get thirsty more often. For me, I am more of a cold drink drinker, so most of the water I drink comes from the refrigerator. The only times when I don't drink from the bottles in the refrigerator would be when I'm out and I purchase drinks from a roadside convenient store.

I only keep two- I drink one, fill it up and drink out of the other one while it gets cold. But my cousin keeps about seven or eight.

2 bottles, yes, I buy about two bottles of purified water at a time and keep them in the fridge.
The pure water you buy tastes better, I think, and then when you're really thirsty you get a better relief.
Water from the taps don't taste as good as the purified thing.

None - an American obsession to do this. Water from the tap comes out cold enough for me. Bit mindless too... this as a discussion, but slightly above the average for this site (YAWNS).

Car , fridge, whatever... You make it sound like there's a gang of MyLotters talking about me in a corner of the playground! I'll take what stance I like - I am not here to garner friendship or anything and however I see things is how I call it. People are usually just as glad to get some negative comments to balance out all the happy babbling here, and if you don't like me ignoring me is not so hard, is it?

Awwww sorry Kate - err not Kate - I don't think that - after all we do not realy know one another at all. I am aware people who are very keen on MyLot may not like the style of my posts or get my position though. UK folks can come over in a way it is hard for Americans to get, just like Canadians (except it is OK for you and Canadians to not get on, I have seen South Park!).

PS it was the thing you said about "or so I'm told" that made me think SOME did not like me... I never thought that was YOU though, rather others, whoever they may be.... it is neither here nor there. I am not here to be "liked" as this is not "me" soem of my posts will be appreicated, some not. C'est la vie.

We do not buy bottled water. We have a filter on our tap, and we drink the water from the tap. The water here is quite safe. We used to buy the Brita pitchers and then bought the big bottles from Safeway, but they took too much room in the fridge. So we just attached a Brita filter to our tap and that works fine. Only the water tastes soapy at first.

We dont use bottles of water we have a water machine so we have just one huge bottle. I personally dont even like water. People ask me why because it has no taste, I just really dont like the taste of water, I force myself to drink it sometimes.

0....I do not buy bottled water. I find it costly and the bottles are not environmental friendly.

Hi Pitstop.
I have a case of water in my refrigerator that I just bought tonight. I have room because I live alone and eat out a lot instead of cooking. I do not refill them. My job has a recycling program so I take the empty bottles to work with me.
Enjoy your water. It is really good for you.
Hartley
