If not myLot. What?

If you were to leave myLot where would you go? Would you stay social networking or seek a complete change? How would you tell your friends here that you were going, or wouldn't you bother. Is there anything, other than the money, that you would miss?

OMG are you trying to give me nightmares honey? I can't ever imagine leaving mylot and there is nowhere else that compares to it! I would have to wonder whether I would do anything online (apart from of course reading your blogs) if I weren't mylotting! I would miss all my friends of course and I would never disappear without letting them know why! Luckily most of those I would want to keep in touch with I would be able to contact so that wouldn't be so bad! I am off to cry at the thought of no more mylot xxx

The only reason I'm still here is because I have nothing better to do. I like the socialization with unknown people, on my own terms, with time to think before I speak/type, rather than face-to-face with people I know in person and barely tolerate. There are a few I'd tell before leaving, if I bothered at all. Depends on my reasons for leaving. If I left, I'd miss you! Along with Lori and Darkwing, and maybe 1 or 2 others. I've never been paid by this site, so the pennies per day wouldn't be missed (yes, myLot has all my payment info). I've found more money in the grocery store parking lot in a single visit than I make on this site in a month. So all I'd miss is the easy camaraderie of my friends here.

Yes, I shall miss you, P1ke. I feel very much the same, as you know from my response to your Cull discussion. I'm tired of seeing questions I've already answered, disgusted by the CNN rips, bored with the sniveling "How do you like your eggs?" drivel. I am planning to start 2 discussions in the coming days, and have been meaning to for the past several days. If you are inspired by them, I would love your input on these topics, but I will not ask you for it. I understand needing space and rest, so enjoy your time away, and know that you are being missed! I hope to see you about, and hope to see your work again soon. Blessings and happiness, my friend.

I am afraid that you are going to have to miss me for the time being. I've decided to answer any responses to my existing discussions but I'm not starting new ones. I'm not replying to other people's discussions either unless they really inspire me. I shall miss people and I have been making much more than pennies. But I am frankly bored at present. There is a cycle to discussions I think and I am seeing more and more questions, answers to which I gave three or more months ago. That's probably inevitable. So I'm "resting" as they say.

I have basically left mylot and seldom come here these days. Yes, I do miss some of the friends that I made here and some of them are also on another site that I went to. I did tell some of my friends where I was going and why but from there left it up to them to decide.
The new site I am on now does not pay money but they have a Goody Vault with goods that are given out to members for any number of reasons. It could be a special event, a birthday, or just because they feel like rewarding the members. The site itself does not have a large membership base but everyone is friendly and there is great interaction. For example there is a "Shout Box" where members can chat while posting plus they have a Chat Room, which opens up to a separate window so members can continue to post while chatting. Plus members can pm each other at any time, and they do not need to be on the friends list to send a pm to any other member.
The site I spend my time now is adviseoranswers.com and is way different to mylot. The monitors are there and active all the time and the members know just who they are as well. Any problems, the staff deal with it immediately or as soon as they know about it, so there is no delay in getting any problems sorted out.
The reason I left mylot was because of the lack of response from the admin to pm's sent to them as well as the deletion of discussions without explanation. I did not have any of the discussions I started deleted but a number I had responded to where. Personally I think that members are entitled to be shown respect and an explanation as to why their posting numbers are going down but that did not happen on mylot at the time I was extremely active here.
So, for me it is adviseoranswers.com to spend my time and enjoy whatever it has to offer.

I've not heard of adviseoranswers before. I'll take a look. I appreciate all the things that you say about myLot and agree to a great extent. Despite never having suffered too much either. I do have some very close friends here and that's largely what keeps me. I can only cope with one social networking site at a time, so it'd have to be something awful to make me leave or fantastic to lure me away. Thanks for your very full and open reply.

interesting question. I don't know if I would live mylot. I love the money of course, but i think i love the interaction with all of the wonderful people here. I would miss talking and reading the wonderful post. I would miss my friends here. I don't know if i would leave mylot. I do belong to other sites but none like mylot. none like the way mylot works or pays. some just as much fun with some great people, but not like mylot. if i did leave, i would let my friends here know that i was leaving. I have been busy, and have not been as active as i would like to be. yet with the end of doing my website coming to a close, i will be able to hang out here much more

I've yet to see anyone say that they don't like myLot Momma, even if they go other places too. Like you, for me it all boils down to the people. I have friends that go to other sites too. I've even lurked there and tried to see the fascination. But for me, I always stay here. Hope to see more of you (cheeky boy) when you get your website sorted.

I would probably be addicted to pogo.com. That is what I did before I found mylot.

I am on a few different sites anyway so I supposed I would just tell people where to find me. That would most likely be on Helium or Qype or Facebook. Which one I said might depend on who wants to know because I use different aliases on different ones. I might miss the discussions on here but any people I wanted to keep in touch with could find me elsewhere.

Well, Facebook is the only social network site that I use but if people I didn't know very well wanted to find me, I wouldn't mind them looking for me on my writing/review sites.

IF I were to leave Mylot, I'm sure I'd find another social networking site, but I honestly can't see myself leaving. It would really take something big to make me leave. But I don't anticipate anything like that ever happening. I love it here. I've made some of the most wonderful friends here and I've grown to love them deeply. My life has been so enriched by the people I've met here, and what they've brought - with their discussions, our conversations, their advice, support, friendship, computer help, and oh the flirtations, p1key - where would I be without the flirtations? I just love them! They uplift me, they make me feel beautiful and sexy. Can't give them up, nope, not a chance. I love everything I get here. It's a magical place.
But what would I miss besides the money? Not the money, my goodness, not that at all. But I'd miss EVERYTHING else, absolutely everything. So you're stuck with me, you guys, for a long time. As I am with you.

The thing is that if I have a chance I would be totally here, on my lot everyday, but the house has to be cleaned, washing clothes, then giving singing lessons, which takes most of the day from 2.00pm sometimes even until midnight. Infact I have just ended half an hour ago, now it's 12.34am. Any way, good night.

Hi P1kef1sh, well at the moment I am not spending as much time here as I usually do and have made a few people aware but will still be responding rather than starting discussions for a while as I need to take time out to do other things but not computer related. I would tell people if I was going completely though and as my PMs never seem to go through would have to be done by posting a discussion except to the few that I have email addresses for and it would be the discussions and banter that I would miss between a few that I have built up good relationships with whilst here. I don't think I would be searching for another social networking site at all probably concentrate more and surveys and quizzes.

Hi P1kefish, Everything is really good, I must have made the right decision in not being on hear yesterday much as I took time to play a quiz that I always used to do daily and guess what I was yesterdays winner and won a Wii Sports system, wow!!!!! I have won in the past and so have both my daughters so it is a great site. So surveys and quizzes for me with myLot as part of my life but lesser hours spent. Right now off to the garden again LOL. Hello Ellie. I'm missing you already! It is the people that I would miss the most. I'd not miss the amount of time that I spent in my self imposed prison in front of the computer though. I have to force myself away at times! Hope that all is going well.

I think that if I left myLot I would not really go anywhere else, I have been trying a few other things out over the last few weeks but have not found anything else that I like better yet. I would miss a lot of stuff on here, I would miss the friends and the adult conversations that I get here and I would miss the laughs I get from some of the discussions too.

I don;t know because I did not fine a place better than mylot when it comes to social networking. Mylot is the best place. There are many social networking sites but it is different from mylot. Though we are not earning a lot here but the community is really good.

Hi there!
I've been mylotting for a month now, and I'm sure I am not going to leave mylot. I'm going to stay here for as long as I can.
I've grown to love the people here. The interesting discussions, sharing of views and interactions though we don't really see each other is fun. We build friendship through these interactions and thats whats making mylotting for me worthwhile. Earnings on the other hand is just as interesting as the discussions.
If I haven't found mylot? - I wouldn't know how interesting browsing the internet is. Really. I don't have a life in the internet until I found mylot.

If I were to quit mylot it would have to be because I just am too busy to work the site. But I don't think I would quit, I would just log in at least once a week and read a few discussions from my friends, and see how they are. I am working full time and I am looking into going back to school in the evenings so I may not have much time to mylot, soon. But I will still keep in touch and look around once in a while and see how my friends are. I might not tell anyone that I may be gone for awhile because I am not so sure that anyone of my friends really knows me well enough to care or notice when I am not here.

i suffer from trying to smash too many activities in 24 hours.
i belong to 40 networking social sites. some are business oriented.
some are global friendship oriented. i try to get to all of them twice
or three times a month. some of them i am with online daily.
i only belong to 3 or 4 that pay money for posting.
some days it's a struggle to get through all 3 or 4 of them
and i wish i'd never started down this path.
but, other than having a cleaner house, i'd probably stay right
where i am on those other sites.
if i left myLot i would send a message to those friends i have here.
and hope to keep in touch with them.

Well it will be difficult for me to left mylot because this is the only site who is honest to the members..I mean I guess if I left mylot then I will not stay to other networks if there is no proof that they paid the member because it is only a waste of time..Well I am really happy here in mylot right now so I will never go to other site..:-0 GOd bless and have a nice day..:-0
