What should I do??

I have been in pain for awhile now. I finally went to the doctors today and I have really bad allergies. My ears,jaw hurts and just about everyday I have either a headache or a migraine. My doctor told me that he can give me Alegra D but if I'm breastfeeding then I can't take it unless my son's dr says it's ok. He was suppose to call me back and let me know and of course he didn't. So I have to wait until Monday to find out. But he said if I can't then I have to decide if I'm just going to take the pain or to stop breast feeding. I really don't want to stop breast feeding...I was trying to do this until he was at least 6 months old. My son doesn't latch on so I have been pumping for him ever since he was home from the hospital...it's alot of work. Does anyone know of a website that lists the medications you can take while breast feeding? I have tried looking but can't find one. What would you guys do if you were in my situtation??
