I read that wearing silver can actually protect you against some diseases (like infection diseases). Silver contains such a chemical structure that it can actually do that if you wear it. Gold or platinum, eventhough they are more expensive and cherished, they cannot do that.
Some special athletic companies use silver fibers in their clothing to enhance the athlete's health.
Do you know anything about this? Is it used in any other clothes?

I have never heard of that but I know that bronze does basically the same thing.

yeah, apparently when you put it on certain pressure points or even a ring on your finger. Can also help with arthritis

I think there is something to this. Ever hear the expreesion, born with a silver spoon in your mouth? when the first pioneers traveled the USA they hid there silverware in the water barrels so that the indians or bandits would not find them. I have heard said that this helped them from getting sick as well. :)

Thanks for the best reponse mark! Speaking of silver I had a friend really into health stuff, He had a small electric box with two wires that had clips attached he would clipp these to a small silver rod and put the rod in a glass of water before drinking. The idea was to charge the water with silver particles thus creating better health and improving the over all system. They have some technical name for this I just cant remember what it is. I also used to sell h20 purifiers that had silver impregnated carbon in order that the carbon would not grow bacteria when not in use for days. I used to always put a silver once coin in my 5 gallon jugs of water as well. happy health and thanks again! :) SIM ON...
