An empty glass of water would be filled with water. Every one minute equals n = 1. And the amount of water in one minute is 2^n = 2^1 = 2. In an hour the glass will be filled with water which means 2^n = 2^60 = calculate u'rself :).
And the question is how much of amount of water if it's just half filled ?

amount of water in half filled glass= 1/2(amount of water in full filled glass)
=1/2(2^60)
=2^59 Ans.
Simple.
