Hi!
Do you sing for your baby? Do you listen to music for him/her?What's your theme song?:)
I regularly sing and listen to "I don't wanna miss a thing" by aerosmith (also listen to david cook's version:))
While i really enjoy it, i know it has great benefits for my baby:) I bumped into this article (www.makewayforbaby.com/prenatalmusic.htm) which features the ff benefits of singing and listening to music while your preggy:
(once baby develop hearing in the 5th month)
- music is excellent for aural stimulation and to soothe the baby
- After birth, baby distinguishes the mom's voice and show preferences for sounds heard while it was still in the womb
- music heard from the womb seems to give babies, after born, confidence and relaxation
But mom's don't have to wait till their 5th month!
they can give benefits of music even before the hearing develops!
moms who take time to relax by listening to music help their babies feel calmer and happier.
So start playing some relaxing songs and sing to your baby!:)
Dont't forget to share with us your fave songs for your baby:)
