Will you Pray before you take Food..??

Yes, I used to pray God before taking any of the Food, (Break fast, Lunch and Dinner)..
By Praying God, says that, "Thanks for provide me a comfortable food as of now.. Please continue the same for ever"
I Feel that It is a gesture to say thanks to God, by our prayer, and also i really feel that its a good practice to pray God before your meal..
These are all purely my practice and my point of view.. the opinion may differ from person to person.
What about you??

Hello,chenni!I don't pray God before my meals but whatever i eat,i offer to God First and then eat.according to Hindu religion,it is customary to offer our foods to God before eating.it is out of gratification we do it.thanx.

hello my friend
I am a chinese.In eastern asia countries,people believe in buddha mostly.I am not sure whether or not other people pray before they yook food.But in my heart,I always pray when i take food.
i pray my parents have a good health.
I pray all my sisters have a good life.
I pray more and more poor people can live better.
Thank peoplea lot who make food for us.I will show my high honor to them.

No i never pray to God before talking food.I think it is a good customs amoung Brahman hindus to take prayer before taking any food or chanting gayathri mantras.

I did when I was a child but eventually the practice was soon forgotten. I have my own family now and I have not thought them about saying grace before we meals. I guess I just forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me, I will start on dinner.

me, im also doing that it's nice to be thankful for all graces we receive from our lord jesus christ....
and as a christian we need to practice our ethics and to share into others by doing with the things by means of praying and as a model to the children...
We teach them to be near the and practicing them through praying the rosary.....god bless....thats my opinion i hope i can help with others also.....

I am Chinanese,i never pray God before taking food.But i think it really a good gesture for you to say thanks to God,maybe in the future i will pray

It is always a very very very nice habit to pray early in the morning and while eating your lunch and dinner and also during night before you go to sleep as it is like surrendering yourself to the almighty so he is really gonna take care of you.
Well comming to me I pray in the mornings and at nights and i am sure that from today on wards i wil also pray when i have my food.

Dear friend,
Most of time, I do pray before having food or at least I would remember before God while having food especially during break fast, lunch and dinner. Other wise during having snacks I hardly do pray. But during break fast I would remember god even I do not pray I do just touch heart as a symbol of thanking to God for giving me food during lunch and dinner also same is done. Few times I do have also forgotten, just pray God pardon me and help me not to repeat the sins.

yeah i do pray when taking food, i do it on my heart, i do it cause i want to thanks to god that he give me a food that give a energy to my body. i do it before taking the food, but sometime i forget it then i will pray it while i am taking the food. i will stop for a while the i pray the i continue my eat again.

We don't pray before take food in our country. But I think it's really a good habbit, this can let us think we think it's luky we have food now. And I will think of those people who don't have food, and can't go to school have educations. I hope some day, I have more money I can let a child or more child have the oppotunity to go to school, get educated.

Yes..it really feels good and great that God always provides us of means and ways for giving us foods. That's very important.
