Thought is inspired by the military mindset. When there is death all around, any soldier would call out to Supreme Being. I have sought to be very objective about eveything. One can't help but to be without answer to the reality of death. Perhaps the only way to have hope even in the face of death would be to embrace a spirituality as one belives that spirituality to be. Some are even so religious that they perceive this life as a before-life, wherein the real Life is the one that we perceive as after that transition phase commonly referred to as "death". Attitude: Some will not believe in God; some will. I respect and embrace all for their choices. But the question is: Will my belief or disbelief make me happy even at the moment of death. That is , assuming, that happiness is the most important thing. Someone said that enthusiasm is the most important thing in life. Personally, I believe that "we are spiritual beings having a physical existence". And that, eventually, we shall return to dust ... I have no proof to justify my belief ... but it gives me an enthusiasm that transcends beyond this lifetime ... Please enlighten me about your views here. Anyone is welcome to share. Peace.

thanks for your view. I agree, it is the truth that is more important. Isn't is amazing that people in different locations on the planet would have varying regard to intellectual wellness and psychological wellness? Perhaps for most people like in the Philippines, there seems a preference to just stay happy... which perhaps explains that for a long time, too much economic progress been on hold. However, it seems those who prefer psychological wellness are flocking into the Philippines ... Just a thought. Please share your view on this. :)

You know, I have heard that too about there has never been an atheist in a foxhole during enemy fire. But, the only way to know for sure is to find an atheist that was in a foxhole during enemy fire and find out what they have to say about what they were feeling and thinking. It will be very interesting. I hope you get some responses to this.
