Hi,
I have been wanting to burn videos from our Dell computer to blank dvds. However I have just discovered that we just have a Dell dvd player. So, I think I need to buy a dvd burner and hook it up to our Dell computer. If this is the case and I only need a dvd burner, how much is this going to cost and where do I need to go to buy it? Thank you and God bless, leofa

The best way imo is buying an usb or firewire dvd writer. It isn't that much more expemsive and its very easy to install.

you don't "hook it up" - you put a drive in... this is a bad forum for guidance - it is more technical. If you are nto comfortable openning your computer then take it to a shop I guess... Where they'll rip you off (maybe).

nowadays it isn't so expensive anymore.
i don't know how much it will be in dollars exactly. around 20 to 50 dollars i thing, but if you want a more classy model you'll have to pay more offcourse.
you can buy it at your local computer store or on the internet or wherever you want. normally it doesn't have to be from some kind of brand to be compatible with you dell. All the burners will work.
(but i say normally, cause it could be that dell has put on some restrictions, but i am almost certain that dell wouldn't do that. fujitsu siemens for example does this and you'll have to be carefull everytime you upgrade your fujitsu siemens pc.... grumble... :p )
