Do you still stay inside the mall even after buying what you need and spend hours strolling around? Or do you go to the mall even without plans of buying anything and just stroll around and kill time? Me, I only go to malls if I have to buy something. I only spend 1-2 hours maximum inside malls. Usually when I get there I'd go straight to where I can get what I need and then go back home. For me strolling inside malls and trying to kill time is just another waste of time. I'd rather stay home and rest. Either taking a nap, watching tv or reading. How about you friend? How many hours do you spend inside shopping malls?

It actually depends on what i intend to do when inside a shopping mall. When doing my grocery, it usually takes me 30 minutes to complete my grocery list. It really helps when you have a grocery to even cut short the 30 minutes allocation. When buying a wardrobe, it takes me 1 hour to really find the design and the fit that suits me. When having quality with my kids, we are inside the mall for 2 hours by spending it in a playland. We really enjoyed doing it that's why its something that i cannot afford to miss. If there is/are movie/s that interests us, i and my hubby will take the half day watching movie inside the mall.

Hello there iskayz,I personally hate shopping bit when I do go shopping occasionally, I spend a lot of time there because i am very indecisive and I always want the best deal I can get. I'll spend hours bargaining. Normally, a day is required so that I can get real satisfaction from spending my money on the things that I really want.

I don' think I've been in a mall in years. I don't like malls. I like thrift stores, more unusual clothes, some with the tags still on. Malls give me migraines too, all the scents from the kiosks and stores - scent is a big migraine trigger for me.

Yeah thrift stores is fun too. We have a lot of stores like that here in our country. Shopping at thrift stores is a practical way of buying clothes because the price is way way low. Quality of clothes isn't bad also. Thanks! :-D

Here the quality of clothes runs from poor to excellent. If you're careful you can find items that are nice looking - cute - and good quality. Some designer as well. I love them!

just like you my friend i'd rather stay at home than stroll at the mall if i don't have anything to buy. I'm not into window shopping at all. But if i need to buy clothes i take time choosing what i really like. So i usually spend half of the day including dinner or lunch there. If it's other than clothes, i spend 1-2 hours also depending on how fast i can find the store where i would buy the item. Since i am not used to going to malls and i really have a bad sense of direction, i don't easily remember locations. The other reason why i don't like staying at the malls is because i don't like seeing a lot of people walking back and forth around the area. Sometimes there are really too many of them it felt so suffocating especially during weekends and on big sales. Makes my friends wonder whether i'm really a girl or not because i don't like shopping. I can even go to the extent of asking my mom or any of my bros and my sis to shop for me.

Hi there! Yes friend we're very much alike when it comes to malling. Staying home is much fun than strolling inside the mall. I only shop for clothes too and do a little groceries at times but other than those I don't go malling. And seeing people going back and forth sometimes gives me a headache. Thanks for sharing! Ciao!

well it depends if i am just there for a particular thing and i have my kids i make sure that i get in and get out within one hour. but if i am there to shop for myself and i dont have the kids i can spend about four or five hours. i have to try everything on becuase i hate to get home and cant fit something, then that means that i have to go back and exchange it.

Yes me too. I hate going back to the store to exchange the item that I bought after getting home. It's a delay for other important things that I have to do. It's also another expense of fare. Thanks and happy mylotting!

It is a on a rare occasion that I would spend any amount of time lingering at the shopping mall. I hate to shop so much I go to a store head to the section I need, I scan through it and if I don't see what I want immediately, I leave. I will go to my next store of choice and do the same thing. I sometimes come home with nothing if I have to. I hate shopping so much that after I get into the mall I convince myself I dont' need what I came to get after all and I go home.

I rarely go to the mall, but when I do it varies how much time I spend there. One thing is, the size of the mall, if it's a really big mall I could spend hours there walking around to see what stores I want to look in. I usually don't go to the mall knowing what I want, and a lot of times I go to the mall only to leave empty handed! There are a few stores that I pretty much always go to when I go to the mall, I usually go to the bookstore, and I have been known to spend an hour or more in a bookstore alone. It also depends how I'm feeling, who I am there with, etc.

Yeah you're right. Malls are getting bigger and bigger. Its really tiring just walking around and looking for something to buy. That also happens to me most of the time. Going empty handed and just got tired. I also like going to bookstores. I think thats one of the nicest place I see inside malls. Thanks for responding!

Same goes to me, I will only go to the shopping mall only I want to buy something. I amy spend long and may spend short in the shopping mall. If I can't find the thing I want to buy, I may take long, if not, I will be fast. But normally if I go to shop by myself, I will be very fast compare to shop with my boy friend.

I usually go to the malls just to watch a movie to kill time on a Saturday. These past weekends I've been out of my own and I normally stay there about 4-5 hours. It's tempting to stay longer as I might buy something I don't need.

I like to spend 2-4 hours the maximum inside a big shopping mall because they have large varieties of shops that I can visit. Going to shopping mall does not always mean for me and my wife to buy things. We worked so hard during workdays but we spent our weekends if not going to shopping malls but also to some places for sightseeing. If there's a bookshop with chairs inside I would spend time reading books and magazines to enjoy the day.

Well iwould spend an hour in a shopping mall for simple shopping.Butwhe nit comes to a festival or a marriage I would spend more time unless I get what I want.It depends on the shop as well if it has best brands and new trends then we need not spend much time.

Usually I go to shopping mall on the weekend, then I have enough time to shopping. I spend about two hours there, and if there is some discount and I with my friend, it's will be much more time. We can't resist the discount, we like bargain. Sometimes the things maybe not what we want, but it's really on a very low price, we will buy it. Then we will spend about two to six hours on a shopping mally.

I spend as little as possible inside any mall. I am not a mall person. My three youngest kids who are now adults spent all their time hanging out at the mall. Mall rats I think they are called.
