Well the last book I brought was on local history and that came from the local bookshop in the next town.
The book before that I brought online as it wasn't in the shops.
The one before that a charity shop.
The one before that the local large supermarket.

One of my favourite websites offered me some free gift cards for Borders book store. There is one in Phoenix right by he air port so whenever I am in Phoenix, I stop by Borders and use some of the gift cards. I have gotten some great boks hat way.

I get mine at a used bookstore in town. I usually don't pay more than a quarter for a paperback book.

I never buy new books as I have so many now that have been purchased at garage or yard sales.. I have so many that I am going to read as soon as I get the time.. I always have a book on hand which I am reading, but before I catch up on the ones that I have, I find more.. I have found new hardcover books for as little as .50 each, so I buy everyone that appeals to me, I do prefer the hardcovers, so when I find them and they look like my type of reading, I purchase quite a few of them.. So, I have quite a bit of "stock" just waiting on me to get the time to read them.. My son does however always buy new books for me, especially on holidays, Mothers day, Christmas, and birthdays, he purchases most of the best sellers at Walmart..

i usually browse used books section of our local bookstore. books are cheaper but i make sure that these are in good condition. i also try to browse ebay and other on-line selling sites.
going to a book store is an adventure itself for me and its always a delight for me whenever i'm able to buy a book. the lates book i got was co-written by snoop dogg. it's entitled "love don't live her anymore" and it comes with a free audio cd. the book is less than $3 and it really looks brand new. talk about a steal.

The majority of my books came from a used book-store for a quarter. Unfortunately the book-store closed down.
I will pick-up a book at Wal-Mart sometimes. Most of my books nowadays comes from the library.
I will either check them out or go to the back where you can pick-out up to 20 paperbacks for free.
I always take my used paperbacks back to the library when I'm done.
