Okay so i am totally addicted to EBAY. I have relatives and friends who have me sell their stuff as well as selling my own. I dont sell anything that i wouldnt by myself. Usually im listing Girls clothing (from a smoke free pet free home) my sis has a tendency to buy my nieces more clothes than they need, (and most of it is the hottest and newest fashions) they never wear half of it then they are too big for it..lol so the tags are still on it or they wear it once..lol. Now i have a friend whos parents both passed recently and shes cleaning out alot of their old collectibles...so my apartment looks quite interesting right now with things piled up...hubby not real happy but i dont care...I LOVE IT! Its fun, and doesnt take up alot of my time..plus if im listing for them i get some of the money...in addition to what im making from my own things...so why wouldnt I do it...just means more that i can buy..hehe
How about you anyone else out there as addicted as I am?

I am like that too. I used to spend more than what I made on there, but now I only allow myself to buy things on eBay with money I have in PayPal, which comes from eBay mostly, or at least from other online ventures. So that stopped me from spending so much.
I'm going to sell a bunch of college textbooks soon.

College textbooks great sellers. Esp if you do them in july or so, before school. Had a friend who went to nursing school and had to drop out for a bit, new the books would be updated before she went back, sold them and got back over 300 bucks and that was only about 7 or 8 books i believe

Yeah, I usually get back 50 to 80% of what I paid. Each one of my books costs $100 to $300, so it's nice to make something back.
I usually sell them in early August so that I get both the schools on the semester system and the schools on the quarter system.

I love ebay too. It is quite addictive. I do have a habit of spending what I earn too. I have created templates that are fun and colorful and friends ask me to sell things for them sometimes. I have also found that the PayPal multishipping tool is AWESOME! I don't even have to leave my house to do the mailing. I just print out the labels and then set up a pick-up from USPS.com. Then I just set the packages outside and they pick them up the next day. Also, you can get some free shipping supplies from USPS.com with the ebay logo on them.

I do use as much of the free shipping supplies i can from the Post Office, but half the time i dont realize what i need til i am shipping and then im lazy and dotn want to make the extra trip there to get them, so i decided the other day to grab a mess of them and found a place in my apartment to keep them. I like to have the boxes and things here and package and label right at home so im not standing inside the office for an hour doing it all. ... and i definitely agree that the multishipping tool is a great help from paypal. Thanks again and happy ebaying.!

Ebay looks like something I could get into, however i'm stuck on a dialup connection so doing things like Ebay are almost impossible for me! I love the idea of buying and selling things though. Buy them for this price, sell them back for more! I'm very good with those kind of things. I just don't think I would want to handle the shipping it myself. I think that's the only downfall lol, Ahhh well. Glad to see you're having fun! =P

I am on Ebay several times a day looking for craft supplies to use to creat handmade jewelry for my online shop. My hubby looks for items that he can sell at a higher price on eBay.
We have 2 free online programs that we use to help make extra money on eBay. One is for sellers and the second is a cash back site for buyers (until about 3 months ago, I never knew I could receive cash back when I won an eBay auction!)
I can send you links to the sites if you'd like to look into them. Both are free to use and so very easy to make extra $$ with.

Can you PM them to me too? S/o spend a ridiculous amount on there every year buying his racing parts...I dread adding them up at tax time, it's that bad!

I go in phases with it. We were selling with little sucess for a very short time...s/o quit because he got discouraged. I bought a bunch of things with my last mylot payment that I plan to turn around and resell...well that wasn't the original plan exactly but I found a new passion...lol, my interests change faster than I can keep up with sometimes...so I figure I'll sell the other stuff at a profit and have more money for the new stuff! (oh and I've already scoped out the market and it's definitely strong for what I'll be selling)
