co-ed sleepovers. / myLot

i have a younger sister, shes going to be eight in november. She was invited to a co-ed sleepover, my mom refuses to let her go. but i think its okay, considering, we know the boy and his family very well. What do you think about co-ed sleep overs? a big nono? until a certain age?

i think its a nono... even if you know the family, of course because you never knot if his parent will be there to check up on him all the time right?
