The last one I ever had was a freelance assignment working on software at home. I was paid around $100 an hour at the best. I worked exactly when I liked and the work was nto too strenuous, although there were deadlines. But it was lonely at home. Half the money or more was paid out as tax. And they just dropped my services at the end. So... it was good because it was the first six years of my daughters life and I managed to keep the job whilst getting thrown out of the old house and the usual thing where the woman gets all your money etc etc. But now having no work feels suprisingly similar (without the money!).

I would like to have a job that paid that well from home but I would not like having so much taken out for taxes it seems like no matter how much you make taxes take more than you can really afford.
or more than you really want to pay for taxes in my opinion.

Actually I wanted to pay more tax - but I want to see teachers paid more and better social security. I think taxes are too low generally - but not many people see that, they are greedy by nature.

Well in order to pay more tax you also have to have enough to meet your own needs, and for us we are having a very hard time doing that, It is very hard sometimes, especially when your income is not as much as it should be to stay out of the poverty level, so you have the ability to help others, better,
and right now we are well below the poverty level, if I had all of our bills paid off and some savings maybe I would feel as you do.
I do agree that teachers should be paid well for the work they do especially teachers who work with children in harsh enviroments.
Schools and libraries should be well funded.

The best job that i had is "being a student" because what ever i am doing here is just part-time and i am sure that this is not going to suppport me in any way in the future the only thing that is going to support me is my education. so i advice you to study some thing and earn a degree as that will earn you more money and respect.
Well comming to your question i would recommend you to do any job as you will choose out the best available isn't it. So far I haven't seen any such site online in which you can do that but physically may be you can do that as there are many jobs available.
Remember
"Work Hard to get what you like or else you need to like what you get"
"Hard Work Works"
Good Luck.

I like your response best so far and I agree with you, also I am in the process of going back to school, I was not able to do so when I was younger,
But it is really neat at this point in my life because my husband, my mother and my father all agree that I should go back to school for what I am wanting to go for, and the three of them rarely if ever agree on anything especially as far as it concerns me, so I think this is a good thing.
I have to finish up with my associates though before I can really go after what I want so I am working towards making very good grades because I really want to finish up my education.
I agree that hard work does pay off as a rule. And sometimes you really have to work a lot harder than others do to achieve, the things that you really want.

One of the Best jobs I have ever had that I would recommend to people. Well, for me, one of them would have to be a Customer Service position where I worked at the local airport pushing wheelchairs. For me, this was a very rewarding position feeling I was able to give back to the community, and help others as well. It was an interesting job, and even if it did not pay the best, the tips a lot of the time, were not bad either.
Also another one I have had that I thought was an interesting job, was cleaning Burnt houses up to get them ready to be repainted, etc. Most of the time, this was mainly kitchens. Even though it was a rough job at times, it was quite rewarding, and actually paid quite well.
The only reason I am not doing any of these type of jobs now is due to Medical reasons. But if you are into these type of jobs, these are 2 good ones to consider.
