Stock market is getting extremely volatile now as compare to the good times that we had two years back. There are many considerations that had factored in the market.
The market currently looks really bottomed out and oversold. Just how low can it go. It is good to have some diversification and not going all out on one stock. It is going to cost you a great deal if the market continue to crash in the 2nd half of the year attributed by the crude oil price which is about $145 a barrel.
Cheers. Caveat Emptor.

Thanks for your response.
I agree that the market is very bearish and volatile now. It is not a good time to buy if you don't know the fundamental of the company well.

As opposed to rational behavior, it is however a good time to buy now.
That is the problem with people, including myself, we tend to buy during bull and sell during bear. Market do tread on a straight line per se. We chase prices and buy. When they retreat, we panic and sell into weakness and buy into strength. If we are lucky we get out like getting a chair to sit when the music stops. However, sadly to say, most of us are unable to get a chair when the music stops. Its the big players like fund houses and banks who got the seat every time. And this time, even banks found themselves with not enough seats in this very bearish formation charted market.
Cheers.

I agree that it is hard to ride along with the big guys. They are much faster than us in some way.

right now i am not in share market but many of my friends are alrredy there and made money, i am also really intersted in it. As i am a business minded person so i think of all the ways of earning money and as it is that there is somthing like share market where there are chances of earning money I am ready to try it.
But my piece of advice
1.don't invest every thing that you have at any cost.
2.Try to be in touch with those people who are in shares since a long time as they know the field a lot bettter than what we know.
3.Rely on the strong fundamentals of the company.
there are a many things so far i can give you these at tis time
Good Luck.

Yes, I have been investing in the stock market for more than 2 years now. I made a pretty good amount last year when the market was still bull. But I have lost all my profits now that the market is down for several months now. And I have made huge losses too, sad to say. Investing in the stock market is really very risky. I just hope I was able to managed my investments well, but I guess not and am still losing some. I just hope I could recover back my losses and the trend would start reversing.

When the market is in the bull, everyone will make money and laughing. It is bad to you lose your money now, but the current situation is very bad. World's economy seem dark.

yes i do invest in the stocke market
from my experience i would say that the stock markets are the best way to make returns provided i know the details about the company in whose share u r investing in
one need to understand tht this is no gamble or get rich quick method
need patience and good knowledge in the stock market and the technichal analysis to make a fortune in the market
accumulate stocks in dips and invest regularly

I have some shares which i got when i was younger from my bank, i get 2 dividend payments a year and the shares seem to be getting better all the time.
But i would like to get more involved and buy some for myself and watch them grow or not. Is there a website you can buy loads of different shares on?
I love to make money and think the shares market would be a good route to go down as i do not mind taking risks.
