Do you Always End up wearing the Same Clothes?

I have many Clothes - tops, bottoms, dresses and etc. In fact, I have 2 wardrobes of clothings. One for my tops and bottoms and the other one purely for my dresses (I have around 50 of them now)
Despite having so many clothes, I noticed that I only wear around 30% of what I have Regularly.
I guess the reason is because in the mornings, I usually do not have much time to think about what to wear. So, usually, I'll just grab whatever I see first and wear them. Another possible reason is because some of the dresses I have is a little formal and I feel weird wearing them on normal days.
For the remaining 70%, I have either worn them a few times before or I have not worn them at all.
My goal now is to wear the remaining 70% more frequently. I hope to achieve my aim soon.
Anyway, how about you? Do you Always End up wearing the Same Clothes?
Please do share.

Yes i do wear the same clothes over most of the time. I don't go out that much and I really don't care what I look like some times. So I will through anything that is in close reach on. Sometimes it's the same that that I may have wore out last week. Force of habit I guess, I have other things in the closet but I don't put them on unless I feel a change for that day.

hi poohgal!
i also have a lot of clothes but there are a lot of them which i don't get to wear often. and at times, i do end up wearing the same clothes. but most of the times, i don't like wearing the same clothes every week so i would go to malls and clothes shop to buy new ones. ^__~ and there are times that i buy clothes every week! and i would feel the cut it did to my budget after a few weeks. ^__^;; and what's more frustrating is i buy and buy clothes but there are so many in my closet that i don't get to wear often. they are just there occupying space and it makes me frustrated because it seems a waste not to wear them. i try to give a few of them away but there are some that i just can't give away because there's no one that would suit them. (i usually give clothes to my younger nieces. my cousins are usually plus sizes so i can't give them any of my clothes.) so for the old clothes that i don't wear often, i'm at a loss on how to dispose them.

I'm sure not how it works in your country.
There's a Salvation Army center 20 minutes drive away from my place. That's where I go to to donate my stuff.
Maybe you can try contacting Salvation Army (The Philippines) for more information.

I have never had the problem you have. I don't own a bunch of clothes as my weight has fluctuated so much over the years I haven't felt good about myself and didn;t bother buying a bunch of clothes. But now that I am losing wight, lost 25 lbs the last three months I am feeling so much better about myself I am buying myself some new slothes. But not too much yet because I want to lose another 20 lbs. But then a lot of the new clothes I am buying are tops and underwear so I don;t think they will be too big to wear once I lose the next 20 lbs. and I will do it as I am motivated right now. Then I will buy lots of new clothes so I may have your problem then, I hope so, to be honest.

Just cut out the carbs. Or at least cut back on them big time. No potaotes, no rice, no pastas, no bread., no cereal, nothing made with wheat or flour. At first I cut them out totally, but now I eat a little bit of them. And drink lots of water, as everyone say. It really does work.

My wardrobe is big enough to sink the Titanic! lol. There are my fave clothes so they get worn the most, but as they become more ragged and thread bare, they get shoved and I wear some of the other clothes, until I go shopping again.
I think I need to stop buying clothes for a while and start buying some more wardrobes to keep them in!!!!

I have the same problem although i don't have so many clothes. i have a good way to handle it. In the evening, we can think about what we want to wear the next day, find out and try on. If we do like this, not only we can wear most of our clothes, but also we can collocate our clothes more beautifully.

I have not so much cloth like you! Might be it will 15-20 shirts and 10-12 pants. But I love to wear different days daily. Am I very much passionate? Might be, but the another reason is they were dirty soon! Every day I always keep on running. That is the reason. Now, I have not any tention to wear all my dresses !

i got a windfall of polo shirts from my parents at the start of the year.it seems i to them, i was wearing the same set of clothes too often and that i needed additional pieces in my wardrobe. now, i got more than enough shirts to last me a year. i also got four more pairs of pants.
now, there are times that i wear the same set of clothes so what i do is that i put clothes that i wore this week to a different closet from clothes that i haven't wore yet. so far, it has been working. it also helps that i think of what to wear the day the next day. it seems kinda vain when i first thought about it but i figured it helps me save more time while i prepare for work.
cheers!!!

That's the problem when you have plenty of clothes. You are having a hard time deciding of what to wear specially if you are not preparing them a day before you use it. I think the best way for you to do is to line up the clothes you are going to wear for the week. Do it during week ends. You have to put a tag on it like for Monday,Tuesday, etc. With that, your dress to wear everyday is organized. You don;t have to be worried of what to wear and end up grabbing the same thing all the time.
Good luck!!!

Yeah! There are some clothes that just keep catching my eye, I enjoy them and I occasionally put on them twice a week! They stand out in the wardrobe, not because they are new but simply because, they are just liked above the rest!

Sometimes I actually like wearing the same clothes, whether it be jeans or a specific blouse that I really like. I wore the same pair of jeans Friday and Saturday because I was seeing my boyfriend both days.

Hi poohgal, same here, I have so many clothes, I always buy clothes even though I still have a new one, but the problem is i am ending up using my old favorite clothes, so the new one is just a display inside our closet and no chance to wear them. thanks and have a wonderful day.

Sadly to say, yes. I am not into shopping and most of my clothes were bought by my parents and relatives, or sometimes they came from friends as a gift or present. I only have a maximum of 20 shirts, 7 pants, 5 shorts but a lot of polo and sleeves. Of course I have enough underwears, more than 10. LOL. But maybe after college and I am financially stable, I will buy many kinds of clothes for me to wear a piece or a pairs every month. LOL.
