Are you doing something big on this weekend, or it’s all about fireworks for you? As the economic condition is not good these days people are not very excited about going big in this time. Some people are going for camping and fishing, some are going for only just picnic nearby. We are going to see fireworks today and tomorrow we have a small picnic with friends. What about you? What all of our Myloters doing?

I am not American, but my husband is. I am in Canada right now, and my husband is in AZ because of his work. When we are together, we celebrate both holidays. Last year whn I was in the USA, we had cake on July 1st (Canada Day) and on the 4th of July. He made me a nice one with a Canadian flag on it, and I bought some red, whie and blue cupcakes, and arranged flags around them.

I am glad to know that you both do things to make happy each other. Hope in Canada at least you will enjoy the Friday night:).

We're not really doing anything. We ate hotdogs that were fixed inside as it's raining and I couldn't even begin to tell you the last time we cooked outside. We usually don't even watch fireworks. There have been a few occasions where we have but it's really not something that we commonly do.

Well here in the UK the 4th of July is just another day same as any other. Some American style bars will be having big parties I guess, but I'm going out this evening with some friends to a local restaurant/club which is actually a New Zealand owned and run venue which serves fabulous cocktails and has a great atmosphere with good music to dance to. Maybe they will have some special theme and I can come back and leave another response if it was anything out of the ordinary :) Hope you enjoy the fireworks hun. x
