Should The Police Carry Guns On The Beat?

Hello everyone,
Another stabbing by a women on the street south east London and the crime wave is going up,is the law in England too soft? that people goes round murdering at will. Should our police force carry guns and the goverment put more money into the police to walk the streets instead of driving around in their cars picking up drunks? What is law like where you are? share.

Hi Tamara'-yes I think the government should take a more serious look of the shortage of police in England and pay for more to be on the 'beat' as well as opening a few more police stations to control crime-it is becoming more and more a serious issue and also they should be opening more hospitals rather than cutting them back or they have to shut down for emergency's especially and stabbings etc etc..this is one point that really annoys me of an inefficient government..giving themselves £20000each for their second homes when it could eaily of gone to the police and hospitals
