LACKING fat and inches!!!!
To anyone who read my weight loss discussion back in May about the kick boxing, step classes, pilates classes and other insanity I was embarking on to get in shape before my wedding here is the update!
Since May 6th 2008 I have lost 28 pounds, 26 total body inches (unfortunately including a cup size)and my body fat percentage went down from 47.6% to 35.7%
I never ever thought I would be excited about exercise but ever since meeting my personal trainer who helps me accomplish this I actually look forward to attending my classes and going out on hikes and other things during the weekend.
Even though my wedding is a week away I have no intentions of stopping what I've been doing for the past 2 months. For the first time in a LONG time I actually feel GOOD...no better than good, I feel GREAT. And fitting into juniors sized clothes makes me feel even better than that!
I will post before and after pictures after the wedding/mini honeymoon.
What is the most amount of weight you have ever lost and how long did it take you to lose it? Did it stay off or did you gain it back? What did you do to reach your weight loss goals?
Thanks for your comments in advance! Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

I have a perfect body - always have had. Comes from daddy swimming in the deep end of mom's gene pool! LOL
Congrats kiddo. You are going to make a beautiful, svelte bride. Can't wait to see the pics. I didn't realize your wedding was so close! No wonder I never hear from you anymore.*pout*. Hugs and good luck, and weather for the big day!

LOL - Yep! 14 years of nuns: "Head up, shoulders back, walk like you own the world!" - teaches you to look down your skinny Catholic nose at people! ROFL

I've never lost weight...except when I delivered my babies. Sine My mid 40's, I've only been able to put weight on. If anyone needs a personal trainer it's MOI! but sadly my finances don't run to that. I need to fix all sorts of things about me.
You are now married to your sweety and on your honeymoon. I've missed your posts here.
Congratulations to both of you and your little family...I wish you all lots of happiness. Can't wait to see the photos.

Hi Cyn,
I have gained weight post-pregnancy and have lost a few pounds of it by natural causes. But the main ribbon of fat coiling round my waist is still very much there. I think I would be around 10 pounds off if I could ever lose it. But who cares…most of the time, I am too dang tired to even look at myself properly.
So glad to note that you could keep up your promise to yourself. Its every bride’s wish to look her resplendent best on her wedding day and you will only glow more as 11th of July approaches.
Awaiting the photos and lots and lots of wedding gossip…
Sudipta

Congratulations on your weight loss success! :)
I love exercise, but the scale has been stuck for a while. :( I love reading about your success because it's inspiring.

WEll done Cyn - that is wonderful that you have been so succesful and the best thing is that you feel so much better! I am sure you will look fantastic for your wedding! I hear you had a good party the other night so that bodes well too!
I tried for years to put weight on as all through my teenage years I was massively underweight and couldn't put it on! I made up for it in my 20's and early 30's though! lol Then after my surgery last year when I could do no exercise I started to lose weight and lost about 34 pounds in a couple of months but I think it was muscle I lost rather than fat and we all know muscle weighs more!
Good Luck for next week sweetheart! xxx

Hey! Where you been? WELL DONE YOU, it is fantastic what you have lost, including your cup size but hey "welcome to my world" cos I had a nice 38B cup now all thanks to the stress plan diet I have a measly 32A cup!
Yes unfortunately I lost all my weight due to a bad pregnancy and 12 months of marital stress after (not trying to put you off or owt) and I lost a whopping 5 stone, I went from a size 18 to a now size 8 and 26 waist, although I have recently lost more weight and now have a 24 inch waist, which is a 6 but I am not buying a 6.
Now, onto your marriage, I did not know you were getting married did I? I cannot remember seeing this! Only a week away wow you must be so excited and I wish you the very best of luck xxx

I've never had a problem losing weight...in fact it was the opposite and there was a point in my life when I wanted to gain weight!
I lost a lot of weight in the last month after I started full time work. I know it's going to stay this way. I don't gain weight quickly and since I'm pretty active on a regular basis (kindergartners can be a lot of exercise:P), I don't think I'll be putting on weight any time soon.

Congratulations! Those are some great accomplishements! I wish I had so much willpower. The only thing that stands between me and my dream body is my laziness and my love for food that tastes good :) But then again, I"m lucky enough not to have too much extra weight, so I still feel lucky. Good luck on your further fight with weight! I"ll keep my fingers crossed!
