I know it sounds corny, but picnics are fun. It gets you outside and you can enjoy the nice weather and the food always taste better with a little fresh air mixed in. Also, picnics can be romantic, so when's the last time you loaded up the basket and placed the checkered tablecloth down? Got any memories to share, maybe you need to make some.

Oh I love picnics. The last time I loaded up the basket was two weeks when the weather was good and I walked down to the nearby beach. I quite often do one and we will go to the local moors and walk until we find a lovely spot with good views to. Oh and guess what after your kite discussion I managed to buy a small one yesterday so we will be off to do that too complete with a picnic lunch in tow this weekend if weather fine. Ellie :D

I hope the weather is great. A picnic and kite flying session will take 15 years off your age.

Hmmm, if its okay with you, I'll let it slide. Tell him the bugs are on vacation and you'd like to flatten some grass with him in mind, bring the strawberries and whip cream.

Now you are asking, I think that the last time that I went on a picnic was when I was about 14. I went on a day out with my friends and her family and they took a picnic which was lovely. You have just given me an idea for something to do with the kids when they break up from school for six weeks, thank you x

It has been quite some time since i went on a picnic or an outing. Recently me and my group had planned to go an an outing but it seems never to push through since everyone's schedule does not jive over the past two months. imagine that. So finally we all agreed to go out on july 12, (this year I hope)and I'm crossing my fingers. Everyone seems to be so busy so much so that they have no more time to relax or enjoy life. I do love picnics and outings and when i go home to the province i try to organize picnics. lately however, i don't just seem to find the time.

The last time we went on a picnic was about a month ago. It was one of the first weekends that it was nice here. We decided to go get something to eat somewhere and then take it to one of our Parks around here and eat it. We usually will go either get Subway or KFC when we do this, and go check out the water, etc. and just relax and watch the people. It is a wonderful thing to do for sure.

We usually get something fast too and let the kids play. When its nice weather getting outdoors should become a habit. Thanks.

The last time we went was this past Fathers Day. We had about 5 different subs cut up and chips and chocolate cake. We went to the state park here in South carolina and a couple of my husbands daughters came and joined us with a couple of the grand kids. They all went and played in the lake and then we took the kids over to the play ground for a short time before heading home. While we were there we drove around and found a couple of places to camp and will be going back when it gets cooler.

well our place is really for picnic. we have a lawn with coconut trees and plants around. we place our mats every afternoon when the sun is not that hot anymore. sometimes my friends bring foods that we can share. we are also fond of making banana and sweet potatoe cues.it's one way of bonding with friends.

I've been to many places. I guess the best would be any park where I could fly a kite with my kids and then sit down and enjoy some food.

Well my son had his end of the year preschool family picnic last Friday. We have a beach in my town that has a large picnic area off of the beach area. We kind of cheated because I picked us up some burgers from a fast food place, but we brought our own drinks. My son and I found a picnic table by the boat dock, and at our lunch right next to the lake, it was really nice.

There is no cheating in picnicing unless you steal somebody elses food. Sounds like you had a nice time, glad he graduated from Preschool. I heard its all downhill from there. :)

the last time may be about 2 years ago
i went on a picnic with my classmates
we bought many thing for BBQ
and then we played on the beach watching the beatiful girl around us of course.
it was so crazy to play volleyball, football in that enviorment under more than 30 degree. After that we were all exhausted and then BBQ the food for diner.some guy were so foolish that he couldn't make the food well.i was good at BBQ so i made some delicous food for that dumbs.
Moreover we sang ,played poker and so on until mid night.
some couples walked along the beach and some single guys like me chated with each other, talking the our goal, our dream and waiting for the sun rising.
it was a good day

That was long time ago, I think 3 years ago, when I was still in our province. I lived in a coastal area in the province so it is very easy for us to go to the peach and have picnic together. Now that I spent most of the time in the city, I rarely went out for picnic because beaches here are far.

There was an egg hunt and a baseball game. I took a lot of pictures of my family and had fun doing it.

Well the last time we packed up and went somewhere and ate on a blanket was last summer some time. But we did cook out a couple of weeks ago, and we ate outside on the patio on our lawn furniture, that is sort of considered picnining I guess, even thought the house was right next to us. But we did get the benifit of the nice breeze as we ate outside, and smelled the wonderful smells of all the grills in the neighborhood cooking food. Gotta love that.

A REAL picnic ...ages ago.... maybe as long as ten years... The other week though, I got up early one Sunday morning and went off in the car to a spot where you can see for miles - with some croissants and a bottle of orange juice and just enjoyed the solitude.

The last time I went on a picnic was during the summer of last year, when my church had one. It was very nice spending time with my parishioners outside of a church setting. There were so many wonderful things to eat from the dishes of food everyone brought to pass. It gave me an opportunity to see people of my church that I hadn't seen in a while.
