I read in the previous response that it is a sleeping disorder and not a habit.

When I was younger I walked in my sleep and I would walk in to the closet thinking I was in the bath room and you can guess what then !

ya some people walk in sleep usually small kids.......but elder also do the same thing sometimes......it is not good as it is a kind of sleep disorder. This usually happens when the person is under stress.

Is it? I really don't know that this is a sleeping disorder.I just thought of it as a habit.

I used to walk in my sleep when I was younger. One night my mom found me "drawing" with chopsticks in the kitchen.

Sleepwalking (also called noctambulism or
somnambulism), under the larger category
of parasomnias, is a sleep disorder where
the sufferer engages in activities that
are normally associated with wakefulness
while asleep or in a sleeplike state.
