Dodge Emissions Code

I have a Troubleshooting code P0601 do you have an answer for it?

If there is no manual for it, you can go to the dealer to determine the code. I know, for example, a misfire on my Chevy is a P0300 and P0301 would mean that the first cylinder is misfiring. It might be something similar on your car. Also, some other discussions sites that specialize with Dodges might be able to help. I've found a lot of advice on Chevy websites.

I have found no reponse to this post from last 5 months... I have seen many user complaining their post does not get any resonse and i have found that true. So just thought if we can respond to this post and make it alive... So request all to put up their value reply

P0601 means that a serial communication failed inside the computer at least 6 times. Diagnostic is long, complicated process. It involves first checking all power and grounds to the pcm, including fuses. Next is to do a continuity check of all input and output lines from the pcm to the respective components. Finally, a check for any shorted ouput devices. With this code, all monitoring by the pcm is suspended.

If it is a Windows problem, look on Microsfot Support website. They probably have info listed there. I can see that you are not going to start another discussion until this is answered. You might want to reconsider.
