The weather was nice today. Warm but not too hot. With a gently breeze that felt good. So we decided to go to a park with my mom. It was beautiful and relaxing by the lake. And.... I forgot my camera! It happens a lot. Before I used to keep it in my purse all the time, but then I would either forget to charge it or to take it from the charger and get it back in my purse LOL This time it stayed home charging - well it was more than charged already but... yeah.. I forgot about it Grrrrrr Does it happen to you often as well? FInding the perfect place for wonderful photos and you forgot your camera?

Nah...sometimes I forget my good camera, but always have some kind of camera about as both my PDA and cell phone take pictures. They are not as high res as my Canon Powershot, though, so they work better on nearby things, as the pictures would get grainy if they had to be blown up.

My cell does not have a camera. I didn't want to. I used to have the camera in my bag all the time, but for some reason I has been spending more time outside the bag now. Oh well..... :)

That is what the trusty hand phone camera is for! Whenever I purchase or replace my hand phone, getting one with a good camera that can take decent pictures is one of the main criteria. Cos you will never know when you need a camera. And with a hand phone, you can be sure that you are carrying at least a backup camera with you all the time!

Yes, I've noticed that it's harder and harder to find a cell phone without a camera. Maybe I'll think about it when I get a new one.. just don't know when that will be I like the one I have LOL

Yeah... well wouldn't work for me because I don't always have my cell with me. I don't even have money on it all the time. Usually I put some money when I know I will be needing it, but not regularly. And I tend to choose a phone without a camera. To me a phone is a phone, a camera is a camera LOL

ha ha ha ha ha... Right now, when you check out the phones available in the market, almost all of them come with a camera! Even the lower end phones comes with a basic VGA camera that takes pretty good pictures. So, when investing in a new handset, why not pay a few dollars more for one that you can use other than just calls?

That must be frustrating, having the perfect scene and not having your camera. It happened to me once, there I was ready to capture the most awesome photograph , when the camera blinked and konked out, it was low batt. Talk about proper timing.

I had my camera at work tonight. I often do.As usual, though, something happened and I could not take any pictures, I had to do my work instead. My camera uses AA batteries, and I bought rechargeable. I have learned to carry two charged batteries with me at all times. There is even a little pocket in my camera case.

I know all about how fast the batteries go. AA are not the worse though, I once had a cheap camera that used AAA and oh boy 5 minutes and they were gone.

Always Always Always..... Like you I use to keep mine close at my side... Now it sits in its case gathering more dust then the dust bunnies under my bed eat! Thank goodness my Daughter-in-law is handy to keep a camera with her.

When you get the best views and don't have a camera. I know that you wish that you had it with you. Maybe next time, get someone to remind you to take it the next time you go out like that. I guess we women are allowed to forget something some times. So don't worry, or you could put a sticky note up somewhere in the room or on the frige to not forget the camera when you go out. Have a good one.

LOL it could work but I tend to write sticky notes and then forget all about them :) As for someone reminding me.. the kids are always oblivious to everything and hubby is aging "gracefully" with me - he also forgets LOL

All the time - well lately anyway. I used to scrapbook - obsessed with it. But only do it lightly now due to a health problem. But I was taking about 4 rolls a month. Now with a digital I can't even remember to download the few I take to the PC! I set the camera out, but forget to use it. I use the Video cam corder and fill the disks, and just forget to copy them to harddrive and they are all full so no available space to record!! Vicious circle!!!

I'm not a camera fan but the idea of going somewhere and forgetting something I will need is so loathesome to me that I never forget to make a mental check before I leave the house for the things I know I will want. Its happened to me before. I've forgotten my glasses, hat, wallet and God knows what from time to time. So I make this check and even then forget some things. What a life !
