World without music as they say is really "dull" and "boring". Whatever genre it is,people is really pleased and entertained by listening to it. So no wonder one of the marketable ventures indeed is the music industry. But admit it,it's not business all about. But most of the time as audiences or listeners it's the music that really matters. We are so much engrossed to music that it became a part of our life. Depending on our different inclination/preferences. We can always stick to our own favorites depending on our mood. Just like me, music is my turning point every time I am down, problematic or happy. I can always rely to this stuff even without doing something. It's serves as my "MEDICINE" at all time. So how about you? How music affects your life????

Music affects me in many different ways. But the most important thing is that no matter what, it makes me a little bit happier on some level.
I have love music for a long as I can remember. I was raised on country, then in when I was a pre-teen I started listening to pop also, then by the time I was a teen I refused to listen to most country, but I still liked pop and by then I also liked rock and metal. For several years it stayed about the same, but then in my late teens I got into punk, pop-punk and emo. And now, well.. I like all of this. It makes up who I am, it's all the music that has made up my life.
When I want to forget the problems of life and just try to be happy I tend to try to listen to pop/dance pop because it's usually pretty happy and upbeat. When I am down and need to feel like someone else understands sadness and heartbreak I listen to emo/pop-punk, when I am angry and need a release of that anger I listen to metal/punk, and when I want to be taken back to my childhood for a bit I listen to country, especially particular songs that I listened to growing up.
Basically music has been my whole life, I love listening to it and singing it. I am very passionate about it. My role models have always been musicians and singers, and I am one of the few people I know who could care less what the musicians do in their personal life, I just care that they keep making music that touches my life. That is what I admire, because face it, we are all human--well all do dumb things, but music--it can make things better at the end of the day!
Also, I agree with you, music is my Medicine!!

I can't think of a life without music. It is so boring. I have a varied taste for music - I listen to rock, POP, RnB, and Classical even. I go back to those days of sixties and seventies, and also get same entertainment from contemporary musics. You will be glad to know that 50% of my myspace friends have musical background. I have colleagues, who are professional musicians as well, and I have friends/ classmates who have chosen music as their profession.
Music, as rightly pointed out by you, is the MEDICINE, and my father used to say that "Music purifies the mind". He was also a musician. So, you know what music means for me.

I think music is as much a part of human existence as culture and tradition. It is universal and transcendent.
you might not understand what someone from another country is saying but you can always appreciate good music in whatever language.
so music is as essential to people as writing and reading it affects all aspects of our existence.

I love to listen to Gospel music at times, it seems to pick me up and put things in perspective for me.. But at other times, I love to listen to the "Oldies" that I grew up with, they put a spring in my step and make me feel like dancing.. Sometimes, I really enoy listening to what most people refer to as "Elevator" music, or easy listening, a it is very soothing and makes me feel relaxed.. Music in a fantastic medicine and we should all take advantage of it..

I enjoy listening to music very much and listen to music everyday. It helps me relax when I am feeling tired or stressed out about something. I enjoy listening to music when I go for my walks at the park as it makes the walk even more enjoyable. I like listening to various types of music and keep plenty of music on my computer and my ipod shuffle. It would be difficult for me to dance without having music to listen and dance to.

Dear friend,
It is known that from the capability of sound in earth arise the music also arise. Hence I feel each animals and humans who can produce a sound is cable of producing some sort of music. Even every tribes has their own musics which later got organised and well settled to hear to modern human. In ancient period it is known that music could cure disease, it even helps to cure certain problems of brain, vain and even other parts of body. It is also know that in ancient days musicians sing for the rain. So I music has a powerful part in humans life.

Well honestly just about the only time I listen to music is when I use my Ipod when I run. It definately gets me pumped up and motivated when I start lagging and am wanting to quit my run before I have gone the distance I need to go. Other than that I just don't listen to music very often.
