How was your 4th of July?

Mine went pretty well but my husband had to go to work just as we were starting fireworks. I hate that he had to miss his children's 1st 4th of July. Well my older son this is his 2nd 4th of July but last year we got rained out. I wish he could have seen how amazed his son was! But we got to cook out which im glad he was around for and he got to spend the day relaxing with his 22 month old son and 2 month old daughter. How did you all celebrate the 4th, if you do celebrate it?
