Obama and McCain are the choices we have this year! Who do you think will win and why you think they will win? Or should either one be president?

Obama has a great deal against white rich people and large corporations that are the legs our economy stand on, and he's making all these promises to minorities that count as small percentages of the population instead of for Americans as a whole. I use to be for Obama but he changed my mind. He's only out to get the votes and is using the minorities and their belief that some how they are getting the short end of the stick as leverage to get them to vote his way. America is suppose to be about equality.

Not at all my first choice but I would have to go with McCain. Obama lacks the experience and the ability to lead this country. Obama attacks McCain that he is not for the veterans because McCain was against the GI Bill covering all college cost for anyone who served in the military for three years. The GI bill already covers a lot and other financial aid is allowed on top of it if your income allows plus most colleges give a 15% discount to military members and their family. My husband's college is just about fully covered, and think where would all the money come from to pay for college for all these men and woman... It would be a ton of money. Obama attacked McCain recently for being against a bill that would have opened up doors for woman to attack corporations for not getting the pay they think they deserve. If this bill was passed corporations would go bankrupt just from fighting these lawsuits that people would loose their jobs. Obama makes it out that McCain is against equal rights for woman. As a woman I don't feel at all like I take a back seat to a man because of my gender and I believe that McCain has more faith in Woman than Obama and sees woman as equal. Obama says McCain isn't sensitive enough to Hispanics, and believes that American's need to learn to speak Spanish instead of worrying that the Hispanics learn English. McCain voted for English being the official Language of the U.S. Obama can't even get right how many states there are in the U.S. and him and his wife have made several statements and bad jokes that are shameful for prospective couple in the white house. I could go on and on about all the things that he's said that tick me off and the really sad part is I was really rooting for him in the beginning. Now I see he is a complete joke. Sorry to rant on here but the past couple of days and the things he's said have really gotton under my skin. This is the first year I've really followed the election and I'm glad I did to make my vote the right one for me.
McCain is a smart man with experience and a real pride for America. I don't see him as another Bush at all, Bush I can't stand. He would cut down on the wasteful spending of our government and will bring this ordeal overseas to a successful end. Not my first choice but the only choice now.

Ok, one thing at a time. If McCain was against the GI Bill covering all college cost for anyone in the military, then I have to say why? he was one himself. I agree it would be a ton of money, but would you rather have an educated people or an uneducated one? Thanks to my GI Bill, I was able to finish college. I'm trying to get it reinstated so I can go for another degree in Nursing if possible since I am not doing much with the one I have at present. NOW, the other bill that don't allow women to get the pay they deserve, I am sorry ma'am, but I think I got a problem with that one. I think deep in my heart that women get paid FAR less and to me, that's NOT fair. I work at a job where women may get for example, $5 an hour to men making perhaps $8 to $10 an hour. For the most part, 98% of these women are single, raising kids on that money, and the ends DEFINITELY DON'T meet, so you feel we shouldn't get paid what we are worth? Next year, minimum wage goes up to $7 an hour. Are you kidding in one of the most WEALTHIEST nations in the world?? It only goes to show you that some have, some don't, and Lord help you if you don't.

I'm going to be real. As an African American woman, although I see it for myself, I still cannot believe this man got these votes, and he's the Democratic contender for the Presidency. I wish my sister and dad could have seen it happen. They were both staunch voters, matter of fact, my dad used to register folks to vote up in New York City when we lived there years ago. He believed deeply in that. So I will have to say, honestly, we shall see what we shall see in November. It may be him with all of this stuff I'm hearing about him because I surely hear a lot about Obama, and so so on McCain. honestly.
