I don't like people call us so early

yeah, it's really bothered us for the calling come very late or early. So I just ture off my mobile phone. As my telephone, now there is little people know the number so I think don't have people will call very late. When my telephone number is openly to every one, I think I may will pull the line out, and the phone will not ring in the night. I think there is no so urgent thing for me need to cope with for so late and early. Why don't you try this? To have a good sleep, and wake up when you want to .

Agree, youless. I do like to pick a phone call early in the morning. i use to let the phone ring or minimize the volume so that it won't bother me to go sleep again. No mater how urgent, it have to wait until i waking up.(i need my beauty sleep.LOLand dreams, its the only things in this world that free.

I guess you are not alone in feeling like that. And I am sure the party calling did not realized that he/she did that. I mean, you already mentioned, they are old people. They wake up early by default. So it never occur to them that you are still sleeping even though they have been awake for the past few hours. Be a little patient with them. They are old people who were young once. We too will grow old someday. So what goes around, comes around.

Hello! Wow, 6:40 am in the morning is way too early for somebody to be calling. My mother always said that I should not be calling people too early nor too late. I should not call anybody before 10 am, because we never know how much does people like to sleep... And I should never call somebody after 8 pm. That's the time we follow, this way we will bother nobody while making our calls. Anyway, it's a bit of useless, since I almost never calls somebody. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Me too.. Not only an early morning call buat also a late night phones.. In my country most of cellular phone provider have very cheap call rate or even free start from 11 pm till early morning, so sometimes my friends call me at night just to chat, eventhough they are understand when I said I need to sleep, still their phone call makes me wake up and it is sometimes hard to go back to sleep again.. Hhhh.. the problem is, sometimes when I had a sleeping problem I just entertain their phone call. I want to turn off my mobile phone but I can't because I have no landline and I dont want to miss in case there is an emergency call.. This has been a dilema for me..

Hi youless! I do agree with you that it is kinda inconsiderate for people to be calling up so very early and so very late at night too, when it is not of real importance. I do receive calls like that often but if it is my father who is calling, whether it is important or not, it will be alright and will just be happy to talk to him even if I am very sleepy. I to hate being disturbed by the phone at the late hours and early in the morning. I think that this shows the utter disregard on the convenience of us by the callers.

Really youless, I do dislike to be awoken early in the morning. I usually go to bed late in the night and I enjoy sleeping especially the time early in the morning. It’s really annoying plus irritating if someone should disturb my sweet dream just for a little trifle. Yeah, this sort of phone calls and visitors at the door way early in the morning, just for their convenient to deal with something which is considered to be not important are really inconsiderate. I wonder whether these people understand that not everyone would wake up early in the morning. Hehehe...luckily that all my siblings, relatives and close friends aware of this and never awake me early in the morning unless they need help urgently. Anyway if anyone come for important or urgent matter, of course I am willing to help him even in the early morning while I need sleep deadly at that moment. posting and take care.

agreed. i also dont like calling us so late at night... we always prepare ourselves for 'emergency calls' whenever we get calls at 'odd-hours' like that...

I think it is not polite to call people so early and wake person up.I do really be angry when some person wake my up,when i sleep deeply.Sometimes,i will not to answer the call,if she/he has some important thing,they will call my mobilephone.

That was way to early. If I know the person will be awake, I will call. This morning my friend knew I'd be awake and called about 7:30 on his way to work. On weekends I wait til 10AM.

yah it will bothered for non sense but i will consider if the call is emergency and really need an urgent response too.

Well , what i do is pick my cell even in da wee hours or in the night but if its just a chat i tell them im in my sleep and i immediately sleep again ... for that i keep da cell close 2 my bed ... I think this works well 4 me cos my frnds also r vry understanding n polite.

Yes, it is to me, it is very rude! Especially if it is not an emergency of some sort! My mother-in-law used to do this, last year.. She would call 7 in the morning.. And it would be non-stop.. She was looking to talk to her son.. I did not answer my phone sometimes.. That was too early in the morning to be calling.. I know that my sister calls me from time to time around 2 in the morning on her job. She works a 12 hour shift... Most of the time, I am asleep, and I don't want to talk all of the time. When it gets like this with early or late phone calls, I just won't answer my phone.. I will let my voice mail pick up instead.

I don't like people to call early either. From my experiences I have never received a phone call in the morning that is good news. Either someone is sick, hurt, can't do something or whatever, but it is always bad news. I don't need to be up that early and I sure don't need to start my day off hearing bad news.

yeah, i don't like that too, makes me think something happened, emergency. in your condition, if the call is not importent and you still boring this, i think you should gonna talk with your mom, then let she tells her friends the situation, it will be all right unless all of your mom's friends are morning caller~

i also do not like people to call us early in the morning. especially when i am enjoying a dream, my mood will become very bad after hearing the ring. that is why i always close the telephone and cell phone at night. once i even received a call in midnight without words in the line, it was so scaring!
