A lot of you MyLotians are trying to earn a little bit of extra cash by surfing & clicking on the internet...
Ever thought of taking on an extra job to earn extra cash ?
I get up 2 hours earlier now to do a newspaper round, and I go and help out a friend in his shop after hours.
That way I earn a little extra cash to use on an extra holiday or a special treat for my family.
I just think that a job gets you the best chances to earn a little extra !
What's your opinion on this ?

Getting a normal job like you were receiving money regularly. I think we are here just to get some extra but I can say not enough. I am here not just for money but for fun and to learn . I am happy meeting people here, and I enjoy making some post everyday.

This is only an extra cash. Many of the myLotians here active are well paid by employers. When they have lot of free time, they come and use it for making some extra dollars.

Of course an extra job is the best insurance for extra money. While some myLotters are on the computer just about all the time, trying to make the pennies add up, I suspect more are like I am. I think it's a fun game, especially when it's too hot or rainy to get out and about easily.

Do you mean an actual job ? I would love to, unfortunately in my country it's kinda difficult to find a job that pays a decent salary. It's not worth it, that's why I think I will keep earning here and there on the web. If I make 300 bucks a month I consider myself satisfied. Good Luck to all the "MyLotians" :)

There are lots of "here and there" spots on the web to make a little extra money and when one combines them....I am sure it is easy to make $300 extra a month. You never know until you give it a good try. As for myself, I am only aiming at maybe $200-$300 a month regular income so I can make enough to add to my disability and live on it and still be able to get my medicaid back because I lost my medical coverage unless I pay a huge spenddown each month that I cannot afford. And since I am on disability because of medical conditions, it figures I need medical coverage. I am just new to mylot and still researching other areas. But I know of people who are making a full time living doing the "here and there" on the internet. Some people are called dreamers...and some of those dreamers are making money at it.

For some that is not possible. I am a stay at home wife and Mother , we live out in the country and we have only one vehicle (my husband uses it to go to work). I also have health problems that would prevent me from working an outside job on a regular basis. For some of us this is the best way to earn a little spending money and to communicate with people that we otherwise would NEVER have the pleasure.

OK, that's where I am heading to : MyLot is a fun way to communicate with people you would otherwise never have the chance to, but as for earning some spending money ? Get real ! You could earn more while growing e.g. tomatoes in your country house and still stay at home ;-)

1. Lazy.
2. Laziness
3. Addicted to the computer. (Mostly not me but meh)
I do work but I just do this in my spare time so I can watch some videos on YouTube and do a little typing for like $1.

Oh now don't go saying we are all lazy. NOT!
Just exploring options. Who knows? Down the road this may be the next big money-maker. There sure are lots of bloggers making lots of money. And just because you are sitting at a computer doesn't mean you are lazy. Work comes in all types.

Yeah extra job brings in money and everyone love extra money. Internt is having lots of opportunities to earn extra amount of money, but the chances of earning huge amount is very less you need to work very hard to earn lots of money and sometimes refer do make difference, if you have more refer and if they are active you can earn good amount of money. you need to populate your link too so that more people come and join under your downline.

I would love to get a jo cept i am a mother of a two year old downs syndrome child who needs full time care. And as he has a thing about me being seperated from him (which i am working on). Till he gets over the phobia of me leaving him i cannot get a job. And i am also taking my son to his hospital appointments as well as my partners hospital appointments as he has anklyosing spondilitis which is a cartlidge eating disease i am sure no work would let me have every second monday off and a 2 days off a month. As my partners hospital appointments take all day. And my son see's a pediatrition and an eye specialist.

I agree with you but in some situations, it's just not possible. After reading a few other comments, I have to say that for those who are able to get up off their lazy behinds and are physically able then get a real job, for others with disabilities or their children have them, they can't just do it. Also where I live work is hard to find and they just use this as a means to make anything until they're able to find work. I know cause it has taken me awhile to land a REAL job and am grateful that I have so now my time is limited to what I can do on the internet. Nowadays it's just not that easy to get a job.

Hi ramones, I agree with you, even though it is just extra and a little income it is still an income and it give a small amount of money to save for something. I have a small business but inspite ot that I am still here on mylot and the other internet income to jsut have what we call extra income. So the money I get from here and the other, i just save it for our vacation. thanks and enjoy.

I could be a tutor teach the primary or middle school child, but I still haven't doing any tutor work exept teaching my niece, I earn nothing from that, just earn the experience of teach. I sold newpaper when I was still in school, that's really a good chance let me to know how hard money is making. I hanging around, and I get cny 1.00 once I sell one newspaper. For the first day I just earn 2, that's a summer holiday. I just worked for few days, the most time I earn is just 10. :( I don't know how to sell, and ashamed to ask people buy.

Not everyone is capable of working a "normal" job. I know I'm not. I've worked normal jobs in the past, but now that I'm disabled, and often dependent on oxygen so staying at home and trying to earn some money is my best option. I know many others here have similar reasons. Some have small children they want to be home with etc.

There is a company online that hires disabled people to work from home which is what I do. All they hire is disabled people. I don't know if I am allowed to put their website URL on here or not. If there is a way to contact me I can tell you what it is. I am still new here so am not sure how to contact people privately.

I am curently a full time student and trying to get onto a fire department. So, I cannot get nother job at this point. I am on here because every little penny does add up and I enjoy being on here in my extra time.
