Do you wear shoes in your apartment?

do your dogs sometimes sh*it on the floor? my dogs do. if you don't wear shoes, what if you step on the shi*t, lol?

No way my dogs do that.-After the puppies have been home with us, if we have gotten them form somewhere else, in only 3 days I have them fully house trained and going to the door when they need to poop outside! Easy to train them, so you don't have to worry! First, take the dog, even if it does not have to go, out every hour on the hour to go. Hard..but you have to commit totally for hat one day to it without fail. If it does, give it hugs and great praise. If not..or if it has an accident in the house, NO response. (Don't yell. Just...no response.) Just clean it up and try again the next hour. Dogs want your praise. They will train fast ..in about 3 days and after the first day..try every two hours. By the time you are at the end of 3 days, when the dog has to go poop, it will go to the door to let you know it has to go outside. (It may whine or bark. I have one basset hound that actually sits and knocks on the door frame to go out. They are all different?) But you have to be consistent and give the dog confidence you are paying attention. They will be 3 TOUGH days for you..but once over, your dog won't go in the house again! Hope this helps! I raise basset puppies and make it easier for the owners that are going to take them home. Our puppies are raised IN the house and on our laps right with us. I do not allow any of the puppies that we sell to go to thier new home UNTIL they are 100 percent house trained! They make nicer pets that way for the new families and we think it is the mature and responsible breeder thingy to do. Next time you look for a doog, if it's not trained in advance, just do the 3 day method and you'll never have this issue in the home again! Enjoy being bare-footed! LOL!

yeah, if we have a soft carpet on the floor, we can walk around rooms barefeet. lol
