I lived in the city for much of my adult life. I must admit that I cannot imagine myself living outside the city because I've been used to it, I love the malls, the highrise building, the fancy restaurants and cars and seeing fashionable people on street. While city life has lots of things to offer that will leave you amuse and entertain, it also offers lots of negative things like traffic, crimes, pollutions, things that in the long run far outweigh the good stuff that we thought we are getting. Living in a country on the other hand, which i had tried long time ago when I was young, doesn't offer the luxury one gets in the city, limited shops, absence of posh bars, fancy restaurants, spas and so on. Yet life is peaceful, people help each other since most often than not everyone knows everyone in a small country. Sometimes when you think about it, living a simplier life is more desirable. I can't say I'll be moving in the country in a year's time but when retire, that would be one of my option.

I live in the country, i have lived in the city and didn't care for it. Yes, when you live in the country you don't have the malls, restaurant, and people living right on top of you, but you do have fresh air, children being children instead of thugs, and neighbors that you actually know.So you couldn't drag me to a big city to live with a crane. It's good some people likes living there but it's just not for me. I visit but then i want to come home to the peace and quite.
